Not really - post nuclear is pretty dystopian.Dystopia requires politics. Lord of the Flies is dystopian, The Mist is not.
That’s just a theory, not canon, and honestly, a pretty dumb ending for a great movie. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

By the way, doesn't the tag dystopian setting fit this game ?
Dystopia requires politics. Lord of the Flies is dystopian, The Mist is not.
The most appropriate tags would be 'Apocalypse' or 'Disaster' since the inciting event is currently happening. Neither of these tags exists in the current list. Not really - post nuclear is pretty dystopian.
The suffix -topia explicitly refers to society. Not really - post nuclear is pretty dystopian.
That didn't happen in the story (though it had one of those non-ending endings - and the MC even said he hated endings like that!) It was apparently also a computer game in the 80s (I have a cluebook from then that was for all sorts of games, including ones they didn't make for the Commodore 64 which is what I had.) It was one of those text only ones apparently. ie like Zork. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
"It's from them the blood of human sacrifice must come." - Mrs CarmodyThat’s just a theory, not canon, and honestly, a pretty dumb ending for a great movie.
What, a bunch of guys with guns just show up because you blew your kid’s brains out?
...Oh wait, that actually does happen in real life.
I thought I was getting Steven King vibesThe story and background are completely different. There's just a supermarket and fog, but that's about it. I wanted something more original.
The Mist is best known for its special ending. The movie itself is a classic.
Yeah she was not an expert... also she was killed... she was not enough as a sacrifice?"It's from them the blood of human sacrifice must come." - Mrs Carmody
This is based on a Steven King novel. In Steven King's world, the crazier you are, the more reliable your information is. And she was religious. The sacrifice needed to be "heretic nonbelievers". She specifically calls out the son and the wife to be sacrificed in the novel.Yeah she was not an expert... also she was killed... she was not enough as a sacrifice?

what in the androgynous fack xD
how can something look so beautiful and handsome yet so ugly? so feminine yet also so masculine? so adult yet also so baby faced?
EDIT: dialogue is a mood killer.
It's probably just too smooth, not enough roughness in the skin.I’m carefully considering all the feedback. I’m exploring the idea of introducing a new character—his brother—who could naturally replace the current protagonist. You’d play as him later in the story, and he’d bring a fresh dynamic with his more cheerful and responsible personality. I actually finished modeling him this morning.
I’ve noticed several people are put off by the current protagonist’s design, even though I’ve seen plenty of popular games with unconventional-looking main characters. Still, I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Yeah i know, and i still try to fix it. It looks very different (more detailed) in Substance Painter (where I textured my character), but for now i don't know why. It's probably just too smooth, not enough roughness in the skin.
if I may ask, which program do you use for scene setup and rendering? daz, blender, unreal?View attachment 4716343 In Substance Painter
