In this game in the trilogy that incest patch is completely useless as none of the characters are related to MC at all by default, unlike LE and ToN.
Yeah that was the impression I got. I saw that there's an incest patch up until a certain build, but that it stopped getting updated. I'm assuming because of plot twists or events that rendered the rewrites unusable going forward. In LE Valerie is officially (non-patched) the MC's "brother's wife", but was clearly intended, suggested, or whatever word is better, to be his mom. I don't know what Janet and Kaley were "officially" supposed to be in ToN, because I never played it without the patch.

Dialogue rewrites can sometimes plausibly make some non-related people related, and vis versa. But unanticipated plot developments can sometimes change things too drastically for it to work anymore. For example in ToN someone could have edited dialogue to make Naomi Alia's bio-mom instead of her adopted mom. But then once the revelation that Alia is Nadia/Sofia's daughter happens, then it would be rendered nonsensical, and the rewriting effort would have been wasted. Based on what I'd read a while back I got the impression that someone was waiting for TGO to be completed first for those kind of reasons before looking into possibly making a patch of some kind. But as I said, I've never played the game yet. So I have no idea if there are any characters that could even "pass" for a mom, sis, aunt, whatever. Even with dialogue edits.

I see a lot of people criticizing the story in this game and, while they're obviously entitled to their opinion, I don't really see why. Now, the writing in this game isn't good, but imo it doesn't aspire to be. It works on porn logic: it's just enough to tie the scenes together, and fast-track a bit towards the sexy stuff. The sex scenes are by far NLT's strongest point anyway, with IMO great animation (not excellent, but still) and fantastic renders. If for instance I compare TGO to another game I've played, Alison: Fall of the Apple, which both have nearly identical ratings, A:FotA has good renders (IMO still far worse than TGO), but bad animation and bad writing. But on top of that, it actually thinks it's telling a serious and thoughtful story, which is just laughable. The other issue I see in a lot of harem games is the plot bending over backwards twenty times in order to justify its own stupidity, which TGO also avoids, because, again, it works on porn logic, and I'm more than fine with that.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love a game with a thorough and well-crafted story as much as the next guy, but I think that if a game wants to be a porn game first and foremost, that's a perfectly acceptable decision.

Maybe one day the stars will align, and you'll get your NLT media x Nobel laureate in literature collab.
I see a lot of people writing about criticizing people who critize the story in this game and, while they're obviously entitled to their opinion, I don't really see why.

I get what you're saying, but I also find it annoying sometimes. Not necessarily here, since I'm just passing through and glancing at the thread. But in a lot of threads I've seen quite a few people seem to take some kind of pretentious pride in their Shakespearean literary standards, only find that 1-2 games on the entire (porn) site meet them, and then seem to enjoy criticizing the "low-brows" for actually enjoying the rest of these (in their eyes) sophomoric adult games or whatever.

I don't really see the point in that. Just masturbatory ego-stroking I guess. But people will do what they do.

Not that you can't have and voice opinions, praise, or criticisms on things. There are some games that are imo "too badly written" (even by porn standards) for me, and other games that I think take themselves way too seriously. Often to their detriment.

Not even sure if that's the kind of criticism that's going on, and what you were even referring to. It just made me think of how snobbish and condescending some people can be when they voice their criticisms. So I can understand why some people might sometimes want to criticize those kinds of criticisms

Or she rush to the police station to make sure you didn't walk in on your boss! Just a technical oversight.

Thanks again for your great work DD69-1.:giggle:(y)
Well this episode could be named: "Harry Canmore and the secret of the floating pussies"... Rotfl!
Once again best scene with Erica and Lillian, best girls especially Erica, imho. :)
Erica has soo many scenes till now, not that I'm complaining :KEK:
I don't think she'll get scenes in the upcoming versions sadly, as we still have to see some progress with these characters, Carol/Heather/Melissa/Andrea/Nellie/Chloe/Kimberly - Carol & Nellie have had sex with MC once and are gone backstage :p
I think the next 10-15% of the game should focus on these characters as Hannah/Erica/Lillian have got enough attention.. but because the mansion is so important I feel that Lillian's content will come whether we like it or not. Let's see ;)

Where's the note in the chapel
It's very obvious, so if you don't see it, you're probably looking in the church (Eve Cathedral), not the chapel. The chapel is in a newly-opened area behind the mansion, where you first have to find the key halves and glue them together to open the door.
