I would say that only the first game in the series worked best with the patch.
The rest of them are changed heavily when using the patches.
The most recent game makes sure that incest isn't included or needed.
I wish NLT games were Renpy. No rollback is crazy and the gameplay is clunky af.

Would think after two games they would give the protagonist of this third one something that has multiple uses like Break all locks / Cut or crush all obstacles and smash all jars. Hate picking up objects to find they don't work on such and such just cause it's not in the coding. Best just start throwing explosives at all this games problems tbh.

Been playing this game for forever it seems. Now that I'm about 51% complete, I can no longer save the game. Tried everything I could think of - even reinstalling the game. When I go to save, doesn't make any difference which slot I choose, it just makes a thunk sound and nothing happens. Any ideas for a poor lost soul here?
No mods. Downloaded the 3 parts through Gofile and played straight from it. Result was exactly the same as from the game I've playing for months. Same "thunk." No save.
there is only a single file, where are you getting 3 files from ?

I'm too lazy to complete the puzzles if that's needed.
I'm also missing 1 chest key. I've passed through the walkthrough 2-3 times already, all are accounted including the half and useless keys. I don't know where I still missed a corner. My monitor is really a pain in the ass.
Grinding for the house is kinda tedious. Unlike in ToN, when you maximize the digging skill, the idols just pop out. Here, there is 1-2sec cutscene and a flash to show the treasure (again, my terrible monitor), and the appearance rate of dig is bad.
Plot is ok. I'm hooked but not fascinated. The teaser with Lilian at the end is kinda abrupt
And Henry's ending is good but there could be more like open ended.
I won't comment on the ending of other characters. I'm speechless. Some girls' development with the MC is baffling. Like, they did him dirty, but he folded (forgave them) after a good blow. I don't think the serum here is involved.
I guess that's just all my thoughts on this game. I won't make this longer.
I'll get back to Serpent to continue the story.

This game got so many hidden passage. It's so tedious clicking/dragging every corner of the map.

You can download a 100% save for the last scene. There is one in my HD-Mod (linked in my signature) and plenty more here.
Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. I'm totally over this game. I'm kinda burnt out
I might look for those HD mod you got. But, damn, gonna free up some disk space first for that.
