I was going to make an interesting comment about TGO on this thread, but decided not to because the comment stream has become abusive, vacuous and entirely boring.

Just go into Chloe’s room upstairs to trigger Heather scene, if your still having issues use an older save and watch walkthrough on YouTube by harem hero, really helps when your stumped
But I can't even enter Heather's house. It's locked. And I'm not smart enough to use several saves...

Considering that there was only one dumbbell in this update, as opposed to the number of dumbbells on this board which is larger, I concluded that the author might just possibly have made a mistake in the coding of this update that caused that dumbbell to appear when he did not intend for it to do so -- in other words, its appearance results from a BUG.
In conclusion, I don't think you should get stuffed. You're not even worth being preserved through taxidermy.
Have you paid the guy? Might just have progressed to a point where Heathers house is locked until you finish that scene?
