find a crack on 2nd floor of police station, near to the right stair. Interact with it. Go back to 1st floor. Grapple to get the key.

Sorry, can't help you with that (my Mac is currently not working
). But I've seen other reporting issues on Mac as well, so it might be an issue with the current Mac-release.

Are you on an M1 Mac? If I remember correctly a few M1 users had the same issue with ToN and had to press F5 until it worked.
