It's not like it hasn't been prevalent before this update, but at least ToN things got closer to the endgame before the 'weird shit' sex scenes started.

Also, I've been so burned by NTR in prior games, I've realize I'm now scared of being NTR'd by myself. Any time I'm around Tasha I'm like "wow I really hope there's no scene with her, I'd hate to do that to Henry/myself-from-a-prior-game"

...which yes I realize is a "HalGLC you need to get out more" moment.


I think I'm much more forgiving of this game than most, but thinking back, I miss Lust Epidemic. I'm one of those guys that liked Arkham Asylum more than Arkham City, I feel like the smaller, more intimate setting of one mansion/school (and accompanying back woods) gave a much tighter narrative. There's definitely an argument to be made that the larger setting = bigger cast which I can't complain about (though in both ToN and TGO I've had "man I hope they don't waste a scene of this update on X"), I just think it all felt much more coherent.

Did you look at the map? The map never changes in Arkham which ever game you choose. Precisely like in here, this is a small town community and the map is minute.
How small do you need this to be? You want cabin in the woods with a mansion you cannot escape from ... go look for that other game with this exact setting.

Both has its uses. Renpy has 9 out 10 support to go back a few lines. That's one of the biggest points I'm missing with RPGM games.

I haven't seen an Renpy game, where you can walk around, the renpy versions of RPGM, are mostly just a screen with a few points where you can click on, at the same time RPGM are walk around games, more interesting to solve puzzles/fight battles. And Renpy are 9 out of 10 only VN, or simplified screen with a few actions, like talk and give to advance.

Than you got unity, that's really just a waste of my time, takes forever to load, often goes fullscreen, before you can create a window version. It slows down everything you are doing in the background. It's probably nice for single tasked people with only 1 monitor fullHD, not multiple monitors with 4K.

If you have a profile for someone, you can always upgrade it in the shop...
