You need to find the rpg version looking in the rpgcore.js file inside the www folder and search the string"Utils.RPGMAKER_VERSION =" after that you need to download the engine, unzip it rename the www folder to app.nw and drag it in the directory Game.app\Contents\Resources\app.nw\.
I did it for Zombie's Retreat frm Sirens domain and it worked now I can play it ( I couldn't open the Mac version in the OP not even using the chmod command), do be careful that the first couple of time it can give you the loading files error, but you just need to quit the game and reopen it and it works fine.
Another options is to get the PC update version in the OP, unzip and rename the www folder in app.nw drag it onto the resources folder ( hold the alt key while doing so) and click on merge, this way you will an updated version, the path is Game.app\Contents\Resources right click on the game.app and click on show contents in the pop up menu.

Because the only update available was for the windows version, so we need to wait for the others to be leaked.

Well, I mean I solved it already and I have my Mac version working, but I already given too much infos previously, and bothered someone trying to help the others so I will shout my... keyboard, I don't want to disturb the sacred peace of the thread.^ And that equals all the other versions..... even android if you use joiplay

Anyway we can be sure that, as soon as the other updates will be availables, there will be an endless lists of complains regarding missing files and patch that don't work because the game is bugged and not because almost none can do a simple drag and merge the files....

Oh yeah! I agree on that I would have expected more frantic whining about the update/game bugged/ where keys/where this and that, instead apart from few pages they stopped almost immediately, meh now then we'll have to wait another 10 days before seeing any sign of "life" again...A normal day... like as it is what usually happens... nothing extra to make it interesting etc
