"I am planning on starting some new scenes with Sorrow (the render artist), in 3 weeks' time when they get back from vacation. I'm hoping that will give me time to pump out the full release of 0.22 but let's see. Just wanted to let you know that this wasn't forgotten about!"

She's clearly talking about BOTH.

She's waiting for the 3D artist she commissioned for The Goblin's Pet to come back from vacation. ETA is approximately three weeks (at the time of her post). Because she's waiting for the 3D artist to return - because they will be working together on new scenes for The Goblin's Pet - she is speculating the wait gives her time to hopefully release 0.22 of X-Change Life.

Bit confused as to what the current situation is here with TGP - last I played it it was wholly unfinished so I jumped to the original fic and read through the rest of that instead. Has the CYOA version here now completed that? And does it have multiple other paths, since people are talking about different endings?

CYOA version 1.0 contains the complete story + epilogue. Yes, there are different endings, including some "bad" endings sprinkled throughout the chapters. However, Aphrodite has plans for additional content.

Also - and I say this half-jokingly - but just because ya'll enjoy content where a hot girl turns into a babbling brainless bimbo doesn't mean you guys have to also turn your brains off. The changelog is right there on page one of this thread, pal.

Honestly fair enough on the dig lol. I'd skipped over checking the OP since most of the changelogs on F95 seem to be wildly unhelpful "added 300 CGs and fixed some typos" last updated like six versions ago, so that's my bad for assuming the same here.

But, I was more trying to find out what the bad ends broadly were (the OP only really covers one), and I guess if the branches mentioned actually have much substantial diverging plots to them or if it's a "fix it to go back to Canon, else go2badend two scenes later" type deal?

Most of the bad endings don't last much longer after you trigger them. IIRC the bad endings are

Oh, that actually makes sense. I was thinking, like many others, I'm sure, of something much more risqué. Which would actually be pretty hot; I'm just realizing now that the main character banging human men might arguably be even hotter than banging goblin(s). Think about it: her excuse for all the goblin stuff can always be some combo of goblin pheromones + the collar's insidious, salacious magic.

But at some point late in the storyline (or maybe in one or more narrative expansions), maybe she gets so desperate to feel goblin dong, she... "recruits" one of the guards to try to recreate the sheer ecstasy she so yearns for. But! One man is not enough! So, maybe she ends up with guards *plural* at the same time to try to, uh, fulfill desires rooted in goblin lust.

Damn, someone get Aphrodite on the phone!

You're right; I did a little speedrun courtesy of the hidden cheat menu. You remember correctly, indeed. Highly recommend everyone check out the brothel component. It is deliciously dark and lewd.

Every day I pray for more of this. It's an exemplary display of a certain kind of degeneracy that has not been seen nor replicated elsewhere. One day we will get a follow-up or continuation, I just hope we are still in a world where the effort can be appreciated.

Awesome, I had no idea this ending existed. Hope we do end up getting some art for it if it's true that there are updates coming.

Wish there were more games like this. Seems like there are very few decent player-as-a-slave / monster games (lots of side scrollers but not much with a story)
