I don't have time to play all the games I follow WITH that rule. So it's easy to follow it. like right now I'm playing Arizona and monitoring the site in general.

Lobsterman9999, I just downloaded the 0.2.2 version from TFG and the bug with the missing susaneatingasscum1.gif is still there. Also, the game displays the version as 0.2. I did confirm that the major bug with hanging out at the Cauldron is fixed in this version.
Hey Awolfe - that's really strange, as the .gif now properly aligns with the code and both read as 'susaneatingass1cum.gif', so the .gif you're referring to shouldn't exist anywhere - not in the image directory, not in the game file. Maybe I made that fix after I released v0.2.2? It's been a busy 48 hours... I can't recall. Either way it'll be fixed up in v0.3

I understand your point of view but the wardrobe is always a big and important part of these kind of games. As you said so yourself you do not use it if it has no consequences, but seeing as you can not progress without wearing the right clothes I would advise you to use the wardrobe system. It is there for a reason (as in all these kind of games)

So. I've played until the end of the current version (0.2) and I've multiple things to advise so that you can actually improve the already good quality.
First : Allow us to be more attached to his father and his GF, like make us play two or three normal weeks where we actually have wholesome chat with the father the monday by phone and wholesome time with the GF without necessity for sex (there should be one scene, but it shouldn't be the priority). That way we will pay for the father without it feeling forced. (This should be of low priority, like do it when you are finished with the present storyline)
Second : Understand that this advice is for adding player agency and thus making it more of a game and less of an interractive book, and this should be done IF you want to and AFTER the present storyline. Allow us to choose other degrees, there should be at least two : I suggest STEM and keep Gender Studies, but you can add more. This is to allow you to save your father without feminising like you would sell your body (because STEM would allow you to work at the hospital as an intern), thus making the feminine transformation really being caused by stress.
Third : There is two repetition of scenes with the GF on the NTR road, there also are repetitions in the gym, and in the non-NTR fem road there are repetitions, you can leave it like that or you could write another way for it to happen, repetition is rarely good in writing and there it actually destroy the immersion and make it feel like you put them to fill two weeks and it feels artificial.
Fourth : if you want to go until complete transformation, two advices for you :
- Remove the distinction between heterosexuality and homosexuality to replace it by your sexual response for said character in another window
- Make it so that you can actually have biological children in an epilogue of sort. (so for an end of story)
Fifth : When you have time and money, try to pay someone to make art for your game, the real porn is good and all, but making sure YOUR vision is transmitted would be better.
There. I may come with more as I'm now doing my second playthrough, but this is already a good beginning. Remember to always care about the game you are making as they are like your children.

Hey Aeon, so glad you enjoyed the game so far. I like your idea of having at least one normal week before things get feisty (as opposed to a single day, which is how the game runs now). My worry is that it will be a bit boring, and delay people from getting to the action. Perhaps as an optional prologue? I’ll think about it.
Your gender studies / feminization class is pretty central to the game, as is your feminization. A different class, a non-fem route... sounds fun, but a massive amount of work and so separate from the game as it stands today. I’m afraid this is out of scope for
Agreed! More scenes are needed. Many more scenes. But scenes take time to craft. They’re coming, I assure you. I don’t leav repetitive scenes in for the sake of writing - I just don’t have more scenes prepared yet. The aim is for this game to be as thick as it is long.
I’ve been thinking about how to address this heterosexuality /homosexuality issue. As the Main Character becomes a woman, liking men is no longer particularly homosexual. I’m sorting out a solution at present.
There are many big endings planned. I cannot confirm or deny that sexual reassignment, pregnancy, and biologically children are part of one or more of those endings.
That would be awesome! Totally out of scope though. Custom art is an expensive, time consuming process. I’m no DAZ artist or traditional artist, and paying a professional would be prohibitively expensive. Whereas nearly every passage currently has one or more image or gif now, if I had custom art that would drop significantly. I love the dream, but it’s just a dream.
But The Good Son is just my first erotic game. Let’s finish this one first, and then get really ambitious for the next one
I wouldn’t equate this game to a child - but it’s certainly a job. I’m a professional in my real, non-erotica life and I hope to bring that same work ethic and respect for my customers (like you!) to this job. I’ll care for it, and push myself to keep improving its quality, and providing sweet updates for all of you.

I can agree with this one, and I'm convinced that repetitions happen because of daily schedule gameplay model. Devs would need to try really hard to avoid repetitions in content that happens every 2 days or so in same place on same time slot. And i never seen repetitions in scenes avoided completely unless its more CYOA style of writing without daily schedule, which is admitedly completely different approach, and Lobster himself said its not for his liking. You can check any popular sissification game on this site, and you'll see that repeated scenes are very common occurance. I just skim them really fast to see if there are any variations and skip them, which is bummer and breaks the immersion as you noted yourself.
Regarding your first and second point, i'm not so sure. Why porn game would need filler text and character buildup that lasts weeks? Espicially in such critical point as beginning, where potential audience is still not sure what to expect of the game, and considering if its worth playing. They may seem it as boring and not very erotic at all. There is this trick you could see in books or tv shows, its used like following. You start right in a middle of the plot development and player/reader/viewer has a sneak peak at what to expect. Lets say you start right at your crossdressing shift the cauldron, you get flirted with and groped by customers. Then follows some innuendo like "you probably wondering how did i end up in such situation? Lets start our story from the beginning". And you get to boring part of early game. That would help if you wanna add some preerotic character buildups, but i don't really think its necessary in porn game at all :/

Ah, it reminds me that "Goood Son" isn't very well thought out name for this game. Not only it gives unnecessary incest connotations, it also outlives itself very fast if MC goes feminine route. Actually I would have tried this game sooner when I saw it on tfsites if it had better fitting name.

Welp, I just like the idea that you are exploring and your storytelling is not bad, not necesseraly good mind you but I can't speak of the final quality as it is still a WiP. Anyway glad to see that my suggestion were good in your opinion ^^
