Okay, i finished the main dragon quest and bunch of side quests, and there's still alot more side quests! reaching 25 hours on the save...Not very fond of the AI translation, and some bugs, but better than none i guess
Good effort for the dev behind this for the amount of content and character development here, the sex corruption of each girls are really awesome, lol

On the one hand, it's not surprising studios would start using AI for their own translations. On the other hand, as this isn't the only game I've seen "Official AI Translation" next to DazedAnon's AI translation now, it kinda makes me wonder how many of these "Official AI Translations" are just DazedAnon's with a couple of names that would be hard for even a proper translator to get exactly correct changed....

Much too lazy to bother checking differences though. Would be kinda funny if that was the case.

Which translation is better? Dazed or official?
Running official and Dazed translations through the opening: Both are largely understandable. Possibly a matter of preference. Main differences are:

Dazed TL:
- Personally felt the wording made more sense. Phrasing was less awkward when they kick the bard out of the tavern. (e.g. "The prestigious Old Trivose doesn't have a place for tone-deaf people like you!")
- Some of this may have been from leaving translation more vague, which would likely be more literal to the Japanese, but a more proper translation would probably assess and insert context better (e.g. Japanese is a highly contextual language and something like "Did you already eat?" "Ate" could be considered grammatically correct.)
- Did have some issues with consistent name usage (e.g. Bard would flip flop between Bard and Minstrel), however, minor character names seemed to make more sense (e.g. Gruff Shopkeeper, Drunkard)
- Major character names may be off (e.g. MC is Clea)
- Some minor parts of menus and other image-based text are untranslated.

- Font is larger and blockier

Official TL:
- It was more often that wording felt clumsy and awkward, more akin to standard MTL. Understandable MTL, but just, weird phrasing. (e.g. "Old Truboss, a place with tradition, isn't a place for tone-deaf people like you")
- Labeling who was speaking in the opening was more consistent name usage for who's speaking, However...
- Referring to minor characters felt very awkward/unpolished and names used in dialogue seemed less consistent (e.g. dialogue called the bard various things like bard, wandering poet, etc. despite the original Japanese almost all definitely using the same word/kanji for the name). Also name choices seemed much more awkward (e.g. "troubadour"[sic] instead of Bard/Minstrel. "The strong-faced shopkeeper" instead of Gruff Shopkeeper
- Major character names will all be accurate (e.g. MC is Claire, written in Japanese this name would look like Clea, but a is often used as a hard -r sound on foreign words since that doesn't really exist in Japanese syllabaries)
- All text, be it dialogue, menus, or image-based text were translated
- Font is smaller/finer print

Overall, I feel like probably both will work fine. But if you aren't too bothered by some of what I would call "more aesthetic" translation errors/omissions, I'm leaning towards Dazed's TL being more comfortable to read. But it may come down to personal preference.

I've translated a few of the more obvious untranslated menus/text and included screenshots of the official TL's Hint Menu for image text that's a bit more useful. If you plan to use Dazed's translation, then grab this and extract, place "img" folder in <game folder>/www/ and let it overwrite the existing files in www/img (should just be ~9 files). The HintsScreenCaps folder can be placed wherever you like. It is not something the game will access but just image files for you to view separately if desired.

Holy shit it's 5gb

Since there's 2 translation, I decided to just combine the official MTL and Dazed's patch.

This combination actually will not work. I had taken a look at doing that and the way dlsite appears to do their AI TL patch is shove everything into the game.exe file. So if you run the Official AI/MTL you can only get the Official AI/MTL stuff. All of the /www/img/ files and the like seem to remain untranslated despite game_en.exe having them translated.
This does, however, appear to mean you can just grab the game_en.exe file from the Official AI/MTL, throw it into the game folder of Dazed's AI TL and run it from there to get the Official AI/MTL game running. (I did not run this past the opening and a few early quests, so this may break things later in the game. But at least it appears to run fine.)

You can see how the file sizes differ between the game.exe and game_en.exe to guess at how they did this. But the simplified important info is: If you run the game_en.exe, you get just the official AI/MTL. If you run the game.exe, you get whatever files are in the /www/ folder.

If you have a preference for Dazed's AI TL, then I'd recommend grabbing the download I put together in my post above. It also highlights some of the differences between the two so you can get a rough idea of which one you might prefer to run.

What I did is I used the Official as the base game and used Dazed's latest patch.

They did somewhat combine in a way atleast I think so. Claire which is the name of the MC in the game is called Clea (MC's name in Dazed's patch) in the dialogue but gets called Claire when mentioned in the screen itself. The font size is also quite different and characters has different names or so when compared.

I'm not yet far so I can't fully verify if it actually combined and I'm using the eng exe.

Huh. That's quite interesting. Dialogue text in the last screenshot does look like it's Dazed's based on the font. And character menu in the first looks like Dazed's as well based on the name. But then Lewd menu and gallery are definitely the Official.

I'm almost interested enough to dig into how they did this cus I reached my conclusion by copying /www/img/ from the official to Dazed's and suddenly had a lot more untranslated images. Hence my conclusion the images were packed into the game_en.exe file when looking at the file size. Could maybe see it running a tool to translate things in /www/ when launched. But that feels like it would take too long to really be how it's done.

In any case, nicely done. Seems just going the opposite direction worked out quite well for you.
