You must not have seen all the shovel ware on Steam that last 3 maybe 5 minutes....there are 100's of games for $4.99 and $2.99 everywhere on Steam, they are here to.
It's been $15 for weeks, and it is a beta after all, today it just went to the $10 tier...
It is currently a "beta" right now. But, I can't remember for sure, but one way or another they eventually make their way here.

I have no affiliation with the game/dev, was just saying it is currently in beta, that's all.
Not sure if it's something you did or the dev, but I get an error about "cannot find label start" on the Mac version.
Compressing doesn't touch scripts or anything else, only audio/video/images. I tested win before I uploaded, and this is a pre-release as well. Have to wait to see if any other Mac users have issues, as sometimes it's hit and miss.
