Yeah, I recommend playing each girl separately to know their individual stories, but if you want the most details for the main plot, Monica's story gives more than the others.

Not that I've noticed. I even did both sub routes in Evelyn's path that dramatically change who she is as a character, but those nightmares are exactly the same regardless, which bummed me out.
