There definitely needs to be a way to tell which girls give which crystals. I got like seven girls up to level 2 before finally finding one that gave blue crystals.

Yeah it should be shown in the targets menu, at the very least once you've extracted from them.
The wiki doesn't even list them all on one page, you have to just search "red" "blue" or "green" to see which character pages pop up.
(also it says Ava gives yellow crystals?)

Interesting game, although I'd like to make some suggestions.
The girls' profiles could be completed when they level up, things like where you can find them, the type of crystal they produce, or who they have a special event.
I realized that if you have a level 2 girl in an extractor, and you bring another girl to train yourself, the attention level increases. Is this intentional or a bug?
A fourth machine could be very useful. Have 3 extractors so don't run out of crystals, and an extra one to train.

to note on that last one if you gain acess to mansion and its basement you get a lot more machine space to work with

How to get green essence? I can't seem to get essence extractor to work, for extracting esssences.

Crystal color depends on the target you use. You can get green crystals from Eve, Felixia, Kasumi, Lisa, and Nora.

Tested it out and Ava's crystal color is green, not yellow like the wiki says.
