There was an ealier free anouncement on patreon mentioning he wanted to make a new project and do it right this time or something along those lines from the name alone im guessing its gonna be same universe, I hope it will be similair in gameplay since I did realy enjoy this game's unique gameplay even if at times it was buggy af

That is not the new project. The Halo Motel post is just another monthly art post for Patreon to promote the motel update. Not a new game announcement.

unlike most Koi based games this one isnt just an rpgm or renpy VN with implication of Sandbox game, those usualy are carried by story/writting (or just sunk cost falacy lmao). at least Halo project has quite a fun gameplay loop though Ill say after a loooooong while im kinda getting tired of starting new save whenever it updates. Also please dev fix the battery thing even when NOT buying the battery upgrades I notice sometimes it will drain 2 charges instead of 1 (I assume buying battery upgrade just speeds up reaching the point it starts doing that) and its driving me nuts when im trying to minmax early game for faster progression

pfft I didnt make the game, maybe you missunderstood me there. But yea I will recomend it to try it since it is quite a unique game especialy in this era of renpy/rpgm games personaly probably only would complain about how drasticly different some card's face proportions look with the florist being best example, she looks like a persona card

So what exactly are you supposed to do? After you put the Halo on someone, what's the next step?

You start using the options in the "Sex" menu. You are limited to Halo actions until you reach influence lvl1, where they'll start doing sexual actions without the halo in use.

Ill have to double check If thats the case for that. Im gonna feel stupid if thats indeed the case though.
