I have had to use the walkthrough once or twice in my entire playthrough. The game makes it clear what to do.
The error is thinking of it as a walkthrough. It is more of a reference material similar to the old Prima Games Guides from back in the day.

Когда мы говорим о «третьей базе», мы имеем в виду игру в бейсбол. Основы сравниваются с последовательными свиданиями с девушкой. Чем выше базовое число, тем более близкими являются даты.

To add to what the others said: there cannot be a "step by step walkthrough" of this game, since some stuff is randomized (like what events happen when patrolling or how our favorite English teacher performs) and if I wrote down how I completed the game it might easily be that for you some discipline will be missing to go to the next step, meaning you would be off-kilter and cannot use the walkthrough anymore. Pretty much though not as extreme as you cannot create a "Step by Step" for Civilization games.
Generally, "games" (as opposed to "visual novels") cannot have a walkthrough as such. Watch out for "management" or often "sandbox" (though there are a lot of exceptions) as tags, if a game has them, this can easily happen.
Finally, a step by step walkthrough needs to be written down by somebody, more often than not a volunteer. (Same goes for wikis or here the "reference guide" by Phil). If there ain't one it may just be that nobody volunteered. Unless we do some stuff like that ourselves, we are not in a position to complain about the lack at all.
Exactly, especially as many (if not all) of the story threads can be progressed pretty much simultaneously a linear walkthrough would be worthless.

I agree, I have replayed this game from the beginning every new release. It really is that good. Some of Chapter 1 is getting boring this many replays, but thats what the skip button is for

I know right? But even knowing the ability to skip some previously seen content, some scenes are just too funny to skip. Additionally, this game isn't really linear and it's easy to miss scenes. So far, I've only progressed a little bit in chapter 2.I agree, I have replayed this game from the beginning every new release. It really is that good. Usually my partner and I play together but he wasn't there when I started.
He took a look at the game and I got frowned at for not waiting for him, and now we're going to start from the beginning. However, maybe after a good spanking on my ass so he forgives me, who knows?
All joking aside, he wasn't convinced a while ago when we were looking for interesting games, but now that he's seen some scenes and I've explained the flow of the game to him, I think he'll like this game as much as I do. He has already prepared dinner and he's roaring to start

My mistake, actually it looks like you're right that the development updates are restricted to the $5 tier. Still pretty cheap though.

I stumbled across this game and decided to try it out. So far it rather engaging and enjoyable. I am having some issues with the quests and perhaps that is limiting me in progressing further.
I have a quest that involves Jimmy, about missing keys. No matter what i appear to do he is either drunk, or forgetful. So I have no idea where to go with this one.
The other quest is with Trixie. I read here that I am supposed to call her on the office phone to ask questions about an escort agency, but her option never appears, for context I refused her first offer and later that night accepted.
And finally how do I get to administer punishments? Supposedly get discipline above 50 or something like that, but I am lost
So if anyone can point out the way to fix these then I'd be appreciative
