If Louise was involved with Zoe's side to against HM, shouldn't Mary be with her? Surely I can tell the Twins are still up to get revenge on HM for paddling them while exposing their breasts earlier.Ruth and Zoe will be the main opponents of the Headmaster. A few of the students can be expected to side with them... I'm thinking any number of Louise, Cassandra, Harriet, April, Donna & Ada. The rest should stay on-side.
Not to me, she is not only trying to doom herself for the rest of her life, but all of the other girls as well. Only a moron or a masochist would want that.A character like Zoe makes sense to me, and if she looks like that, even better.
Mary has started to see the error of her ways.If Louise was involved with Zoe's side to against HM, shouldn't Mary be with her? Surely I can tell the Twins are still up to get revenge on HM for paddling them while exposing their breasts earlier.
For a masochist, you mean? Sure, even Amy might want it to happenOnly a moron or a masochist would want that.
I don't know her reasons but I'm up for the challenge, it's all been going too well for the headmaster. Not to me, she is not only trying to doom herself for the rest of her life, but all of the other girls as well. Only a moron or a masochist would want that.
I doubt even Amy would want to be treated like a slave for the rest of her life. For a masochist, you mean? Sure, even Amy might want it to happen![]()
I don't even remember her true corruption route at this point. Other than cutting out the other teacher, since I don't sharePriti is too precious. I could not go down the true corruption route with her
The worst one, was where you don't use the modeling excuse, and just punish her for no reason to get what you want.I don't even remember her true corruption route at this point. Other than cutting out the other teacher, since I don't share
Handing out photos to Mylock was a bit of "whatever" but it's been so long since I've done a new run to recall.
Only enough room in the school for one creep to prey upon defenseless ladies and I'm already controlling them. Rest can go.But yeah, protecting Priti (from Mr. Willson) is the only reason I hired Trixie. I really did not want to do that.
This school ain't big enough for the two of us!!! XDOnly enough room in the school for one creep to prey upon defenseless ladies and I'm already controlling them. Rest can go.
Indeed. For his health. This school ain't big enough for the two of us!!! XD
Besides, something like that would probably kill him anyway. We are just thinking about his health after all.
I feel like this is the same as on VNDB. When looking at votes, nukige is the most popular genre (mindless sex with little to no story) while reading the posts makes it one of the most hated genre. It almost feels like there are a lot of people out there wanting porn, not wanting written stories and such people don't read or write forum posts. The Patreons once again made literally every single wrong decision in the poll. Really, really wish the Patreon poll crap would just stop. They just always go for the most horny and obvious stuff with no consideration for how a more subtle scene might develop.
i get it but honestly you can offer patreons so much more or change what kind of polls they haveI feel like this is the same as on VNDB. While I too rarely if ever fully agree with the patreon poll results, I will point out that without the patreons there would be no business model for developing the headmaster and it would probably have stalled at some point.
Yes, but this happens a lot. A game is succesful because of the developer's vision. They introduce patreon polls and that vision is derailed. The polls become a distraction. If George R. Martin had submitted his creative decisions after the first book to reader polls, Game of Thrones would have been crap as a series. (Oh, and he would have finished even less of it). While I too rarely if ever fully agree with the patreon poll results, I will point out that without the patreons there would be no business model for developing the headmaster and it would probably have stalled at some point.
So patreons are needed for the financial part to work, but also patreons destroys everything and shouldn't exist. The real answer is likely a middle path. I remember at one time there was a patreon poll asking which girl to do next. All the girls would be done eventually and the patreons had no influence on what would happen to each girl. That poll added value to being a patreon while it didn't cause issues for the vision of the story. In other words it seems that polls are doable, but they aren't trivial to make because all the answers will have to meet the requirements to fit into the original vision.overall i also feel like most games with story really suffer from patreon polls since you can't really plan out your story or certain plots since it all depends on the patreons and having to always consider all results and already plan forward would be to much work, so stories turn more and more generic and shallow
It’s kind of ironic - I stopped being a patron partly because there were just too many polls. I originally started supporting the game because I was drawn to Altos’s vision, not to a community-driven one shaped by other patrons.Back in year 2000 a movie named Thomas and the magic railroad was released to cinemas. It wasn't a huge success. Turns out that the investors had the idea to show an early version of it to a focus group and they wrote down all the feedback. They then turned it into an itemized list, which they gave to the instructor and said this is what the viewers want so the movie has to have those. They had a fight, but money talks and they all made it into the movie. Maybe the individual requirements were not that bad on their own, but they clashed with each other and they didn't really work with the original idea. The movie has never really made it into the Thomas fandom (like I think movie only characters have never been used again etc) and it's mostly ignored today. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Thomas fans doesn't even know it exist.
For reference it has 4.2 stars out of 10 on IMDB. That's quite bad. I saw it ages ago and while I don't remember it as that bad, it wasn't great either. Trying to merge the American and the European lore into a single movie doesn't really work and I don't think that was a focus group decision, so the focus group issue alone isn't the only issue.
In other words not sticking to a clear vision is a story telling issue, not a visual novel specific issue.

Having a hunch how people vote, I'm actually kind of surprised that the current end of Emily's route haven't been voted in, but maybe it has not been possible to vote for in the polls. That's another issue with the polls. People vote for something new, so half finished work seems to be left behind.

I think you hit the nail on the head - a good Patreon poll should ask "what thing that I've already planned should I do next?" Not "what should I do next?"Back in year 2000 a movie named Thomas and the magic railroad was released to cinemas. It wasn't a huge success.
