I assume you are using an AMD card. This is a known issue and I believe the fix is a change of renderer. I haven't had to deal with it myself but if you do a search for AMD renderer that may bring up the answer.

Same issue, but I use Nvidia.

You mean, different from 14.2 and 14.3, the bugfix update? 14.0 was the update, .1 .2 .3 are fixing bugs...

The only thing really 'new' this time is the side adventure, at the boss's place, which is a separate download.

There is no new content in the main game. The new content is a seperate mini-game.

That may be the case but you could have just been lucky not to hit it until now. I'm assuming from the way you've asked your question that this is your first ever playthrough and you are playing version 14.3. I have no other suggestions to fix your issue though I would suggest the following post chain describes your issue to a t, along with the solution that seems to have been near 100% successful.

No. I've played this game for two years, it only happened two updates ago, and that's when I think lv.7 came out.

Awesome. Cicero was quite the bullshitter though, and he well knew that everything is actually worth what the purchaser can be "persuaded" to pay, a subtle difference but an important one for an advocate like him.

Where are saves stored? I had deleted the game after my last playthrough and forgot it might delete all my saves.

There is an AppData folder but they should be accessible from the game save/load menu if you reinstall.

Can't play build 14.3 because the zipfile cannot be extracted completely. The problem being a file named nullbytecert.pem.pyc. That file causes the extraction process to crash and fail no matter what software is being used to extract the files. The zip was downloaded from different locations and the problem ALWAYS OCCURED! Downloading the 6.26 GB file again is a complete waste of time as the zipfiles are corrupt no matter where they are located; even Patreon! Can't update so may as well delete the game and find one that is actually playable.

Which program you use for unzipping?

Edit: Try using 7zip if you haven't already.
