Gofile has been easily one of the top speeds for me too which is what makes it so painful for me to step away from, but it is what it is. That link norton show the redirect is clearly not gofile and I can't get around it. Not much I can do about it. It concerns me because it seems like some kind of hidden imbedded link that will still send you to gofile at some point, but probably does something malicious before you get to your intended destination.
And do you use an ad and/or a script blocker or not? Also, gofles let me directly to the file...

I run a vpn, malewarebytes, eset antivirus and my browser has norton in it. That's the extent of what I use

So, no addons that blocks adds or scripts. Therefore any "rogue" ad can insert some code redirect, etc., so I guess that would be it.

Rogue ad meaning one imbedded in gofile. Yea probably what the problem is, but it's still a problem with their site and the advertisers they are finding.

I am supposed to wait for Liz to misbehave, but nothing is happening. Tried patrolling, taking classes...

Is this where she gets dared to flash you, perhaps? Have you progressed the Samantha quest to the point where she needs to see you performing body searches on the students? If it is that point, those two quest parts are linked. Samantha will tell you she could smell weed around the dorms, but I'm not sure what is the specific trigger point to that.

No I already did that. Now the note tells me to wait for liz to misbehave again.

Hmm, I don't know then. It's a pain in a way, but once you have completed a quest, I don't think there's an easy way to go back and see what was involved. From the replay library, it looks like after that "flash for cash" scene, Liz's next quest scene is "the mystery streaker". Have you had that one? I think you have to have lunch in the cafeteria (possibly a couple of times) for that one to trigger.

Yeah that was it. Didnt notice samantha quest updated again and I was supposed to go to cafeteria. I pretty much never go there naturally. Thanks!

Oh that's good then. I'm the same though, never go to the cafeteria unless there's a quest reason to! I guess once you get to the new cafeteria uniforms there may be a few new scenes to check out there though.

I noticed a small typo in the morning after scene with Samantha after Lily's (first?) punishment.

"I'm sure she'll she be fine."

On a side note:

There are so many best girls in this game:

Samantha and Lily are both extremely hot.

But I think Amy is the best...or ist it Priti? Or maybe Suspect 1.

If I were to report a misspelling, do they go back through to fix it? I don't know if that's something they can just fix, I don't do coding/programming/etc. It doesn't break the game, my brain just tweaks a bit when I notice them

I assume that Renpy is based on Python, running a specified search function for that line should lead them to it. They'd have to recompile the files maybe? I'm only starting to learn programming less than a month ago.

One more typo I found:

Second day of the Fundraiser:

"However they greatly heightened expectations for how this fundraiser will progress."

Missing a "have" I asusme.

The REAL best girl is Charlotte, of course. Everyone else is just vying for second place.;)

Renpy is officially written Ren'py and py is because python files are .py. Rather than saying the script is able to call python, it's more like python with extensions to make it simple to handle sprites, text and other VN specific stuff. This means you can become quite creative with custom code if you really want to.

No, you don't compile python after making changes because python is an interpreted language rather than a compiled one. It means python code can be executed from source. It is technically possible to compile python and make .pyc files, but depending on what you are doing, that might not be a common approach. Not sure what Renpy defaults are in that regard. The reason why you can't just open the script files is that Renpy encrypts the files by default when building a release zip. You are supposed to play the game and explore it from within the game, not snoop around in the files to avoid exploring the game itself. This isn't Headmaster specific, but rather the standard approach for more or less all visual novel engines.

The reason why some programming languages needs to be compiled while others don't is it's easier to develop with something, which doesn't require a compiler. However a compiler will optimize the code, so it will execute faster. Renpy is using the slow execution approach because it is "fast enough", but you wouldn't want a first person shooter coded this way as that would result in abysmal framerates.

While I can say a whole lot more on this topic, I won't as it will just derail the thread. This gives a brief intro and if anybody wants to learn more, then go read programming websites and/or Renpy's own documentation, which is actually fairly good.
