Alas there was an announcement about the partnership with oneone1 that had the dark elf, heiress and marauder games in it but I can't seem to find it anymore.
Oddly enough the heroine of this game does appear in

old announcement for a new mobile game where Kagura say it will include characters from their other published works...so I have no idea what's going on.
I guess we could go to their discord and ask?

Well I got good news and bad news for you.
The good news is that is the uncesored version, as in not censored by the retards who bought the rights to publish it outside Japan.
The bad news is that the uncensored version still has mosaics...because it's a Japanese game, hence why in the game description the uploder put "Censorship: Mosaic "

Getting once again that annoying error when trying to play the video-game.

• I've downloaded the version which contains the Animation Fix and the Uncensor Patch together.
• I've extracted the archive with WinRAR and its Japanese protocol 932 selected.
• I've set my whole computer to Japanese Locale although that's never been necessary for any other video-game.
• I've tried extracting the archive with WinRAR by leaving its language on "By Default" to see if there would be any difference.
• I've even downloaded the "normal" version on the first page of this thread and repeated the process, same result.

What am I doing wrong?

Edit : I've downloaded all the other video-games from OneOne1 available here to perform further testing. Only The Heiress is giving me that specific error no matter which version I download or how I extract the archive. I feel like this specific product from OneOne1 is forever cursed.

What OS are you on?

For the heck of it I tried downloading it and extracting it with 7zip (right click extract to folder). System locale is US.
The game launches just fine.
The OS is a "Windows 10 loT Enterprise LTSC". Granted it's a customized version I repacked without any of the remaining bloat like Edge, microsft account and defender related telemetry as well as having added desired stuff like some language packs (Japanese among them). Not that that any of those details should really matter, but you never know when *cough* "modern" *cough* Windows is involved...all praise our lord and savior penguin instead...hmm, gotta remember to test these games on linux some day.

Granted it's a customized version I repacked without any of the remaining bloat like Edge, microsft account and defender related telemetry as well as having added desired stuff like some language packs (Japanese among them). Note should be made that for any video-game I download and test, my System Locale has never been an issue. It feels like The Heiress just has that special "something" which never allowed it to work for me. Even purchasing the Steam version has proven to be a disappointment : it worked once then ceased working, patching it never solved my issues.

Edit : I've found the issue and it was related to Microsoft OneDrive somehow coming back to life without my approbation and trying to synchronise thefolder with some Cloud storage. Completely disabling OneDrive and isolating The Heiress allowed it to work properly.
