if im right,it will mean if the current(old) artist doesn't come back this will basicly end up in the bin or completely reworked as mentioned.

We also have the option to call the story so far THS part 1 and then create a part 2 with another artist. The characters may look slightly different in part 2, but perhaps we can manage to upgrade it from part 1.

I would say the best option is to remake the game, but it would take you pretty long to get back to where you are in the story.
Personally I would want you to continue the story with a different artist.

Move forward with the game and have someone else do the renders. Sure, the art style will be a little different, but life goes on. The AVN space is a wasteland of abandoned games and remakes (and abandoned remakes). We don't need more of those. We need more completed games. Maybe you can have the new artist(s) work on redoing renders when you are writing and they have no other work to do.

Part 2 will start with some questions that will lead you back on the right path. This will of course also give you an easy way to explore what could have happened if you had made different choices in part 1.

The models will not be the same and hopefully you will not kill the new artist if the character has the wrong eye-color or a different nose shape than the character you have fallen in love with. I'm confident that the new artist can deliver even better renders and animations than what we had in part 1. He also has skills in programing and can help me make the game look better and more professional.

Equally importantly I'm confident that we can once again start to deliver updates more regularly. I'm very grateful for the patience and loyalty you have shown this year. Without you I would not have had the guts to invest so heavily in an artist as I do now. It feels like a risk to increase my expenses heavily, but I believe that a loyal fan base combined with a growth potential makes it possible. Hopefully we can get part 2 up to a standard that will attract even more fans in the years to come

The sample pics look pretty good indeed. Especially the one with the tit squeezing. Pretty hyped and looking forward to more dynamic looking sex scenes. I just hope the overall body shapes and general appearance of the original characters will carry over.

I'm glad the dev decided to continue the story were it left of, but this part kinda worries me, seems like is gonna be a questionnaire with the more important choices (which I probably won't remember all of them) so I wonder if is possible to just make the new executable for part 2 to just take the last save from part 1 and continue from then (I've seen some games do this like Grandma's house and The Fiery Scion, examples from the top of my head). Even better would be to just continue with the current executable.

You probably don't remember Amber Diamond because she wasn't part of your story. I bet you went to the club with Olivia instead of Amber's garden party (Sophia's porn-star neighbor).
