Correct. It's a continuation. This illustrated version of THS was never abandoned. It was only paused while the developer got a replacement for the rendering artist who dropped off the face of the earth.

" 2025 has not been a good year for this game. After first being ghosted by the developer of part 1 I had to find a new developer to help me create part 2. However we had a rough start when Patreon didn't like how young some of the new models looked and took down my site. In July/August we were back with a new Patreons site and the first update on THS part 2.
Now we should be ready with part 2, but my new artist is holding the game hostage for more money. Since he hasn't kept his promises earlier this year (How fast he can deliver and how often he will give progress reports) I'm not very eager to give him more money. I also need to take into consideration that we have much lower income now than when we made our first agreement, and I can't trust that he won't demand another pay raise later on. (The game script has around 100 days of gameplay).
I feel that I only have 2 options now. 1) Give up this project or 2) Find a new artist or team who can help me develop part 2. I have no programming skills and are totally dependent on others. To find someone who will be loyal to this big project for several years can be difficult.
I totally understand if you want to give up on this game now, and I want to use this opportunity to say thank you for all your support and the patience you have shown me. I would have loved to find a way to finish this game, but right now I'm not very optimistic.
