I believe its just the option to exit anytime from the stage instead of having to wait till the day ends.

I just checked, and that's exactly what it does. I guess I never made the connection.

It doesn't work in Linux, even with Wine... any suggestion?

Here's what I did: try running Config.exe and switch the game from DirectX11 to DirectX9.

So the real content isn't translated at all? Completed, right.

Didn't have any problems with wine (4.0.1), although I keep d3d11 disabled so that it doesn't produce shader logs. After enabling it looks the same to me, no idea.
