The Interim Domain 0.22.0 update #2




Here we are, back in the swing of getting work done for the upcoming release. Took a few days to get things calm back at home, but once I caught up on sleep, I was good to go. On top of the combo scene (see below), we've packed in a pretty big night for Sammy, a visit with Apollyon (aka Polly), and some time spent with Robin and Kara. Of course, that's not to say that you don't get some character moments with the other ladies, but they're moving towards their own moments later on.

With that in mind, while we won't have the endings or endgame locked down yet, you will start to see some of the stories angling toward their inevitable conclusion. For those keeping up with the various stories, you're already seeing signs that certain folks are getting their conclusions.




This update's combination scene is between Marisa and Anita in an event that's been a long time coming. Requiring you to have cleared both of their recent dramas (and be involved with both) this scene spans three days and addresses some issues brought up in both storylines. After a little drama, there's a fair bit of fun to be had and everyone will know where they stand with each other by the time you head home.

I wish the dev would finish this quickly so we could play this without continuity errors and finally see that it wasn’t pointless and we get the girls in the next world relationships intact. I hope so, and can’t wait for the finished game.

While I can get your point about being dead, if you play things right, and you "win" the Qi battle, you get to make the next world how you want, and maybe get to be friends with the girls in the next life. Just saying it is not "pointless", there is a point which you can get if you do things correctly.

Perspective is everything.

I am enjoying The Interim Domain.

The story is well told, and the relationships are well done, including the way the different women relate to each other.

I am also enjoying the MC's relationship with Mira and Apollyon - they are some of my favorites.

You view this story as pointless - I see it as a very good AVN that I enjoy playing.

It Is very different from Now and Then and it did take some time for me to get into the new story/world.

I can accept that we disagree about this AVN - it happens.

I'm going to enjoy this as long as Kinderfeld continues this story and when this AVN is complete, I think there is a very good chance that I will enjoy his next story as well!

Walkthrough seems to be correct. Code says:

Did you get all the other combo scenes? If not, you likely saw an earlier combo scene instead.

Spoiler Alert: This game, along with everything else on F95Zone, is a work of fiction. NONE of the girls in any of them are alive. If your line in the sand is being alive, all of the games are equally 'pointless' to play.

The event limit is a way for the dev to create a sense that there is too much to do and not enough time to do it.

We each get to choose who to support and who has to take a back seat. It is a little easier now with Saaya having transitioned, but there are still more women to help than time to help them.

I like the way this is done as a mechanic.

I get that some people don't want to have to make the choice about who to exclude in a given rev.

There may come a time when we have transitioned several more women and we can catch up, but I don't know if we will ever get to stop Ifuma from grabbing one or more of our women and snuffing them for their Qi.

Or - if this is coming, being forced to transition some of the women before they are ready just to ensure Ifuma does not get their Qi and win the Archon contest.

I'm fine with Not knowing who will transition next or if I will have to make the tough choice and send one or more women on before they are ready - all to prevent Ifuma from winning and creating/ruling a world where might is the only thing that decides right.

We just got another interesting cliffhanger.

What it means ... that is for the next episode (which, IMO, builds the anticipation for the next episode).

The event limit is a way for the dev to create a sense that there is too much to do and not enough time to do it.

Except it doesn't work because a lot of those events are short and the MC could surely do more per day... Plus there's a lot of events that require you advance the plot for most of them in a sort of even way... Also, it would be better if the game was better coded so you wouldn't get scenes before you should... etc.

Point being, sure the idea could be good, but here it's just not very well implemented, so it's more obnoxious than anything else.

If you want the order, instead of the screenshot, look at the WT - they are in order (look at the Table of Contents, it shows them if you don't want to scroll).
