Well, the girls look alright, but Honey Select just looks a bit goofy and cartoonish overall, which just doesn't fit a serious setting very well.
I mean there's a reason all financially successful Honey Select games are comedy/harem.
I believe if the dev made the first game with Daz3D and the usual cute underage-bait characters, he would easily make 5-10 times as much money right now.
Most people simply look a graphics first, and if graphics + setting isn't appealing they move on to the next game immediately.
It's pretty ridiculous that the developer works hard for 2 years and creates a masterpiece, just to make the same amount of money I get from government welfare doing nothing.
I just don't get why he would continue using a renderer that produces early 2000's graphics, when it clearly isn't working out financially.
