Semantic Versioning. Which has only been a programming standard for decades. First learned it in high school. In the fucking 80's.

That's who.
I heard about Semantic Versioning. But when the dev said it's complete, rushed ending or not, it's completed. The first number (1) in "1.0" just explain it's major update, not forced you have to be "completed", right?
Like I said, it's just version number, some people follow Semantic Versioning, some don't. There are some games here "completed" at v0.11, v0.16, v0.39...

Is saving Natalie a net gain in Qi? Sending her earns you Qi the same as with any other LI, right? Like points + 2x Love points? I don't think we get enough time with her to exceed 40 Qi.

Based on the walkthrough, it doesn't look like it:
View attachment 5509572
That would mean a max of 26 Qi when you send her (edit: allowing for the combo scene with Selene which is said to +1 Like and +1 Love, that would be 29 Qi). Unless it gives you >= 11 like points with Selene (I expect it gives you some, but that many?), it looks like saving her is a net loss in Qi. I'm probably wrong here, because "save everyone you can" is definitely the goal of the game, but I'm not sure how.
I don't know whether or not there is a net gain of Qi but saving her is required to get to the harem ending.

If you are not playing on the 'hard' setting it is really a choice since you should be set for Qi either way (although, IMO - you will miss out on some good content).

Cheers!! :coffee:

The game had me feeling a bit raw, seeing the harem ending made it a lot better.
Did i miss something or is Alison not in any ending outside of her own?
Anyways this game was beatufiul, even if it had me very melancholic at times, thanks a lot of creating it.

ehh... no Mira/Polly ending??? booooo... that's the one I wanted, more than a Harem ending... lame.
Yeah sucks you have to choose between them. If you don't go harem. Not sure why they couldn't get an ending too, at least I don't remember a reason being mentioned.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of Natalie. But to each his own, of course--unless you're referring to the content with her and Selene, in which case I agree completely. And out of a dozen or so LIs, that's one who really doesn't do anything for me--not a bad ratio, IMO.

MC checks on her in all the endings, just as he does the rest of the LIs. Can't speak to the new harem ending yet, though.
Yeah sucks you have to choose between them.
If you choose Polly's ending, Mira is there, but it isn't quite the same. There was some discussion up-thread about throuple endings in the DC, but apparently that isn't the case.

Every single download link is flagged by chrome based browsers with a virus alert, and windows defender flags the file with a trojan alert. Is something wrong ?

it's weird because it's one of the most requested endings...
Polly Mira trouple is really the only one that makes sense, since they're inhuman and you can plausibly write them as disregarding typical human needs.

I'm like an hour into the harem ending and it's as people said, it's just kinda ridiculous and I think does a fair bit of damage to the existing story. Kinda retroactively reduces the "prestige" if you will. Still entertaining though.

I think Anita/Marisa and Tina/Robin do as well (I like the idea of Kaitlin/Anya, but...). They're close in the Interim; they're close in the new life. Each of them, in the Interim, mentions that MC is going to need to pick one of them at some point, but none of them is in any hurry for him to choose--they're fine with MC being with both of them until, well, later. So for that to go long-term in the new life/world would make sense, I think.

Among hoped-for throuples, I do think Mira/Polly is the most-requested, but I think those other two make some sense too. But if we aren't getting throuples anyway, I guess that isn't that important.

Yeah I'm not trying to tell the dev what to do or anything, they had their reasons, but doesn't hurt to discuss their endings lol. I just feel bad for Polly and Mira's characters because out of all of the LIs, they are the ones that remember... if I recall

The reason why I don't think they make sense is because as you said they expect him to pick at some point. So its inherently unstable by definition not really a HEA ending. If they just carry on like that it feels like the mc is just playing them, being an asshole fuckboi. Which im down to read about (actually anyone have recs?) but yeah doesn't fit the character here.

And after a very long wait, here we are with the release calendar for The Interim Domain 0.99.0. This is our final content release for the title. A 1.00.0 patch will be coming some time next year with any code or typo fixes brought up by users.

Thanks for your interest and patronage,

Dunno if the dev checks here or if anyone would care to report this elsewhere, but here's a typo in the first couple of hours. "Who's" should be "whose".

storys great thus far, had it downloaded for the longest time and just never got around to getting past the introduction, seen a few spoilers here and there (mostly of my own volition lol) tho while I have yet to complete the game, I will say a certain two characters (seemingly) not getting an ending is rather disappointing. Either way ill definitely have to replay some more considering how low qi i somehow have this late into the game lol. Albeit I havent really sacrificed too many of the LI atp just 3 give or take.

they expect him to pick at some point.
They say this, but I don't think they really want it to happen--I take it as their simply not considering the possibility of a stable three-person relationship.* Neither of them want MC to pick the other one, but they also don't want him to pick them and send the other one away. To use one example, Tina loves MC, she sees that Robin loves MC, she sees that MC loves both of them, she loves Robin, Robin loves Tina. Swap "Robin" and "Tina" there, or put in Anita and Marisa, and it's just as correct. To the extent they want MC to ever (but not now) choose one of them, I think it's driven by the convention (enforced by the pre-DC endings) that MC can only be with one of them long-term.

two characters (seemingly) not getting an ending
I'm pretty sure there's an ending for each (female) character (nope, no ending for Edd). If you interact with her, there's an ending with her; if not, she's a shade. Unless I'm forgetting one? Edit: Mina, maybe? There is an ending with her, but it requires what might be a non-obvious choice in her story.
how low qi i somehow have this late into the game lol.
The path to seeing the most content in TID is to advance the characters' stories pretty uniformly. Your primary source of Qi is sending them on, which naturally happens at the end of their stories. Put those two things together, and you're going to go a long time with very little Qi (and even have to spend a bit of it for the best outcome), and then get a lot of it very quickly.

* And they aren't aware MC's with a dozen or so others at the same time. Tina knows the most--in addition to Robin, she knows MC's with Kaitlin and Anya--but none of them know everyone else he's with. So while they say, "you'll need to pick between Tina and Robin at some point," unbeknownst to them, MC's playing a much larger field. I don't think MC is at all being an "asshole fuckboi" to have a relationship with both Anita and Marisa at the same time--both know about it, they're both fine with it (once Marisa gets over her competitive streak and body-image issues), each knows and loves the other. The dozen others at the same time he isn't telling them about? Well...

Well, i'm not so far yet, but harem wasn't really what i was interested in, there's just too many girls and i'm not interested in a couple of them...
I mainly played it again because i wanted a Mira/Poly end, maybe some other throuples like Robin/Tina, but especially Mira/Poly would have worked easily enough, not like they have any human comon sense or care if the MC is with others.
