Well, I guess this update wasn't a crowd-pleaser huh?

Don't be misled by the comments of some who only appear when the word NTR shows up to start their well-known little war.
The game is fine, it has some holes in the script (like the changes of mind in one of the twins, ie) but it is somehow original and for a third update it has very good content, with good renders.
And as you say, neither NTR or sharing tags apply to the actual content of the game, some people just can't stand to see a sex scene that doesn't include the MC, even among non LIs.

Are you using the incest patch from the main topic?

If so then that patch only covers update 2 - go back a few pages and you would see the fixed update 3 script.

Well, I guess this update wasn't a crowd-pleaser huh? Well to each their own I guess. I'd like to thank those that are providing some actual constructive criticism, I appreciate it.

let me try and be better at being constructive.

so i think what threw ppl off about this game is that the initial release was good it gave a decent enough back story to MC and later on when sisters show up they clearly think the world of him. another good if not great thing was the choice on how mc responds to their horseplay. does he intervene or not? the reason why it was good was (at the time) it seemed like it was a choice that mattered and could even have been used as a flag to decide for playeres they didnt wanna see either lesbian content with sisters or them being fucked by others girls or both. the problem later likely begins with the sister exam scene in which it contradicts (imo) what we know of the sister. she already knows MC and doctor already have something goin on and yet she makes a move anyways(im aware you plan to add dialogue that states they arent dating but even then the sister made a move not knowing that). soooo at that point i was like "wtf!?" where was her affection/respect for MC then? at the same time doctor was trying to be professional and even said mc would be angry or kill her (i forgot). right there would've been a good chance to have the choice to decide wether or not she went through with it. the club scene if we decided not to bang girls in shower doesnt really give us an opportunity to prevent drugging either way so ima leave that alone. but with the clerk MC is given the option to fuck with him or not. the dialogue makes it seem like hes got a crap load of control/power in that moment so it would stand to reason that MC if he chose to fuck with him would send him on his way after the dare was complete. if MC chose the friendly response the orgy could have gone as is.

all in all a few other things i could mention probably but i guess i should ask first if developing is just a hobby for you or you aiming for something higher? if its a hobby then honestly just make the game you want. either way i wish good luck to every dev

This does not apply at this point since the MC don't have an actual love interest yet, However it is having the NTR effect on most of you from what I can see. If the MC was actually IN love with any of the women at this point then yes it would apply, however at this point and time the only ACTUAL love he has is for Haley as a friend/fuck buddy and the twins as sisters. I'll try to add some dialogue in to help clear this up if I can with current content.

2. For upcoming and future tags, this story at some point is going to have at least a hint of most other well-known kinks. what exactly I don't know for certain. But from what I can tell is if someone gets handcuffed to the bedpost in a scene then someone will start calling this bondage porn and start demanding a BDSM tag. I only know the general direction this story is going details and whatnot for most of this have not been written or even thought of yet. I'm on the same ride as all of you right now wondering what's gonna happen next. All I know is everything so far is just the beginning of the story. The title is "The Island"
and they are not even there yet where the actual focus of the story I planned really is supposed to begin. This so far was supposed to be a little backstory and filler until they end up there but it kind of ran away from me in this direction.

What I do know is there won't be any there won't be any futa/trans stuff, no 2 girls 1 cup stuff.
no MC getting anything more than a pinky in his ass during a blowjob. no male on male, And no OTHER MALE having sex with his ACTUAL LOVE INTEREST once he gets a love interest.

As for impact choices they are in fact coming as I have stated many times I am new to this and am learning as I go and trying to do it in a set time frame that people want is far from easy. but I'm doing the best I can to keep moving forward with things and adding new things in ren'py each update.

So I hope that helps clear some things up for most of you

Yes, technically there is no NTR, sharing etc. as you are not yet in a relationship, but many people will see no difference between current love interests and potential love interests. Often any female not in a relationship is seen as a LI.
I suspect that many people that saw the incest tag were not expecting a game with a drug induced orgy involving a random guy and then to be offered sloppy seconds. After that orgy, I don't think I'm interested in anyone of them as a love interest.
If it was just the drugs that turned everyone into mindless sluts, why did nothing happen between the MC and the sisters? I'm not even sure what the point of the orgy was.

It is sad really as the dev has lost a lot of potential followers with what started out as a pretty good game and this is now affecting the overall rating of the game and the enjoyment from it.

It is still early in the game so dev could make some choices in the game to prevent some of the things that get people upset and even if they have to restart the game since it won't be after update 6+ when people would likely get annoyed at having to restart.

Now is the best chance to make those changes and win those potential followers back and I hope the dev can learn from this experience to improve his game.

Yeah, the part with Jen getting examined I can agree with and is caused by my own inexperience in writing. Good news is I reworked the dialogue in that scene to make it a bit better fo Jen. In V0.3 is where I first learned about coding choices and making them impact later scenes. As of right now, the choices do pretty much lead down the same road just different scenes are played, which I have stated here that this may not be a completely "Choose your fate" story. Yes a choice was given for Evan which was always planned just to change dialogue when interacting with him later. without saying too much (Because I don't want to upset the people who can't use spoiler tags by doing their job for them.) The orgy itself is going to have some impact on the story in v0.4 and v0.5.
To answer whether this is a hobby or not I'm going to say no. Since I started the project in September last year it has been either work on this or go to my regular job, I wake up at 6a.m. spend 3 hours working on this go to work for 9 come home and work on it till about midnight. weekends are all day to this. I got probably about 3 grand invested in 3d models. and so far a whole 9 patrons that don't even cover the internet bill, lol. I hope to do this full time at some point and realize some things need work which is why I originally stated on this thread that there will be a "Remastered" version once the story is finished. between rendering images that I think look good enough (About 2 hours per image), writing, coding, coming up with ideas for the story, having to respond to post's on here, fight with the android version and wrap it all in a neat little package every 2 months, While keeping the lights on to even be able to do all that, all by myself IS NOT EASY lol.

So basically if people bear with it and post constructive stuff to make the story better or just to ask questions about what I know and try to help with things that I don't know, then it works out for everyone, but the people that just whip out a sentence saying Oh two of the 3 are sloppy seconds it's ruined. (Which if you actually read and looked at the pictures in the picture book only 1 was, Evan only came in 1.) or this is trash because of another guy, that helps no one.

did you click through that screen? I left those screens in as chapter markers of sorts and stopping points for people if they wanted a break. also what platform is it on?

Now for the reason that I logged in today, the android users. I have no idea why but for some reason the video files were causing it to break on a lot of devices. So I redid all the mp4 video files and so far I have tried it on 2 different phones and a tablet and it's working on those. So I hope it will work for everyone now. I am unsure about continuing on the android platform since so far EVERY update has caused some game-breaking issue. If it continues to be this big of a problem every update, then I may drop releasing on android because of the time it is consuming every time. So far in total, I have lost about a week's worth of hours just trying to get android releases made and working. I hope this trend does not continue and future updates go smoothly.

I can't comment on the content of the update (I froze when Haley and one of the sisters where about to have fun), but please continue to make the game you want to make. There are some VERY vocal players who feel that anyone at all touching one of the MCs LIs is "NTR", which is obviously ridiculous, but there it is.

It's the freaking Love Boat! Sexy happenings abound, and noone is stealing any of the girls from the MC. Everyone can see clear as day that if he whistles for them, they'll come running. Honestly the NTR tag should be removed and replaced with a Swinging or Sharing tag.

Unless, of course, Dwayne gets in on the action and fucks the twins so good they never want to touch the MC again. That's NTR.
