No you don't. The crack posted just a little ago does all that sans the silly unlocking mechanism, just copy the Extra.pak file into the Mods (NOT ~mods!) directory. Great thing btw, finally I can use the Extra again.
I never stopped using extra. But I use the playtest method, not sure why. It has achievements which is nice.

Could someone share this mod from steam workshop:


In return I provide another mod by same author that was taken down around 5.1.0ish, I think.

It is a leotard, leather harness and short skirt outfit.
Goes into \TheKillingAntidote\Content\Paks\~mods
Works fine on 5.1.1 for me.

Crack makes the game crash with Reshade? It hasn't been working after installing that.
Rather buy it and not deal with this but I have to wait for a 40% off sale before it's a reasonable price where I live. :confused:

Update preview! - Added lens parameter adjustment in photo mode
  • Added dance moves (I personally think it’s a bit out of place, but it’s fine as long as everyone likes it
    , it can be used for taking photos, and it supports the creative workshop)
  • Firearms can be carried on the back
  • When holding a weapon in the right hand, use the left hand to drink or take medicine without putting away the weapon first
  • Support Challenge Map Mod

Is there a link to the update preview, unless it's all in Chinese?

Adding dance moves into this game? I agree it is out of place; however, if it's for photo mode or in Jodi's office then it's fine. It would be odd during the main story, all of a sudden, Jodi and the zombies break out into a dance as if it were a musical or better yet, a bollywood movie.

As for dance ideas, my brain first thought of is a metal pole descending from the heavens, the ground suddenly turns into a stage with lights, smoke machine and zombie patrons tossing money. As for music choice, 80's classic Pour some sugar on me by Def Leppard, and most importantly, Jodi will have this innate ability to know exactly what to do.

Firearms (assuming bigger guns like the shotgun or cheetah) to be visible on Jodi's back? Interested to see how this looks if she's wearing a backpack and its animation.

Chapter 2 scene design. I'm going to go against the grain and hope the setting for the research laboratory is of unsettling cleanliness with bright lights and calm music in the background. Researchers and technicians are just getting on with their jobs with no knowledge on what is happening on the higher floors. This is where Jodi can use stealth to get access to some research data. Disguise herself a researcher with lab coat, glasses and heels (new outfit idea).

Teammate NPC, could be a reference to a person that Jodi was sending a message to in the early access trailer on steam?

Jodi can use stealth nowhere, and fuck both the stealth segment (luckily I've managed to somehow just run for it when dealing with one on Extreme, to the point of actually pushing the last guy aside while jumping into that grate) and the towel-run-boss.

I agree that stealth in its current form (as of v0.5.1.1) is bad. Thankfully, there are plenty of video games with stealth to draw inspiration from.

Yep, but TKA is a game where a hot chick slashes the shit out of zombies with an axe and heavy guns, doing some foot fetish fatalities in the meantime, solving some little puzzles afterwards. It already found one's niche, and adding things like stealth, aircraft simulation, RTS elements and turn-based RPG is so so wrong at this point. OFC one might argue as, say, Automata used to become a sidescroller or a fighting game at times, and it was neat - but those are close genres anyway, unlike mixing stealth into a pretty fast-paced shooter, which feels like, what, adding a submarine simulation sequence into Quake? Nah, bad example, as it worked nicely in Malice TC, yet you got my point lol. As of 5.1.1, the stealth is ok, as you can just follow the first guy and shoot him as he pees lol, and even the worst roll of somewhat 6 AR rounds is enough to wreck some havoc on Hardcore after that... But! On Extreme you've got NO early bow (and a few less zombies in fact, as the fan section could become PITA otherwise), forcing you to go all the way to that grate that leads into the safe area with the bow and 3 more arrows. But - ok, Extreme is meant for those who want some pain, and the section is optional for the other difficulties, but adding more of this would be just dumb.

Little celebratory dances would be cute. Then of course the more lewd type dances can be added as mods if not in game already.
I hope it would also have poses.

I would assume the lab is also going to be a mess, at least in many areas. That's where a lot of rooms (I assume) for the test subjects are, and that's where some escaped from.

Teammate. Might be, or someone new or the other reporter(?) Jodi knows and found out via terminal lore snippets is there, and is a test subject.

I hope there will be lab clothes in next chapter but for mod I'm praying for some piercing and lovely "toy" =w =

Do not install them under "\TheKillingAntidote\Paks\~mods". Install them under "\TheKillingAntidote\Mods" folder. You may need to create the mods folder.
You will also need the steam playtest version
As Filo_p stated you need the Playtest version also. Download TKA Playtest from steam.

Delete the content of the folder ":\Steam\steamapps\common\TheKillingAntidotePlaytest" and then copy the files from cracked version into the folder. Run the Playtest version game from steam. It will run the full version now with all mods enabled.
You need to replace all the Steam files of The Killing Antidote Playtest with version 0.5.1.1
