I call it gaslighting Kendo is taking advantage of Satoshi and Mary's Relationship problems. He claims he's trying to help them but instead of highlighting both party's issues he makes it look like Satoshi is the main problem and Mary is the innocent one as an excuse so he can fuck Mary. This in turn causes Mary to start seeing Satoshi as the problematic one in the relationship and ends up gaslighting him as well (he practically calls her out on it in the bad ending). They both bring a few issues to their relationship that can be resolved in a healthy manner but instead of actually giving them genuine help. He makes it so his nephew looks like a ungrateful brat who cant satisfy his "poor sexually frustrated girlfriend" who he needs to "help" by fucking her. From what I've seen his actions are for either satisfying his sexual needs or for petty revenge. He does not truly care for the women as much as fans think he does. He basically made Mary a trophy to be won/ barging chip to his nephew because he's scared what his brother will do in retaliation the last updates.

I think it's important to remember that games like this include both game logic and porn logic. Game logic frequently sees the hero of the story commit spree killings all across the city/world/galaxy and still be seen as a paragon of virtue. Porn logic makes pizza delivery person the best job on earth. So we've got to be willing to suspend our disbelief to leave room for the writer's intent.

the biggest thing against kendo is that he did help Satoshi when they went on that double date with the staff members, and he figured out what he did wrong with Mary and immediately went to see her. which reaffirmed why Mary fell in love with him and kendo went in and fucked the shit out of her outside his room.

Lmao, you clearly don't know what a sociopath is. Kendo is an extremely selfish person. He is an hypocrite and he does a lot of extremely bad things. But he is not a sociopath. He's clearly capable of empathy and love. He wouldn't be as good at seduction as he is if he was not. He is still capable of feeling regret for his action, he's just a very resentfull old man who's determined to not let that stop him.
If there's a sociopath in the story its arato. He truly doesn't care if his methods will harm anyone as long as he gets what he wants. And he's clearly incapable of forming genuine relationships with people as he only cares about what he can get out of people.
That's not to defend Kendo. Arato in a lot of ways was created by Kendo. Because he saw Kendo dominating the sister that he loved in the way that kendo did. Arato feels the need to conquer and dominate so many women, because he lost the woman that he loved to such a conquest at a formative age. As such dominating women has been the only way for him to rebuild his selfconfidence.
The reason why Arato is so much more immoral than kendo is that he lacks kendo's natural charisma and ability to connect with people, so he compensates with money and drugs.
Long story short, Kendo is shit, but he's not a sociopath.
