It is worth playing. Especially if you like NTR. There's a vanilla ending or two, but the game is mostly NTR.Is it worth playing? I've read various reviews and comments that many people are dissatisfied.

I like vanilla and ntr as fantasy. I've only read that people don't like the plot, character paths, etc.It is worth playing. Especially if you like NTR. There's a vanilla ending or two, but the game is mostly NTR.
I understand. How do you rate it?I think mostly youve read people dont like Arato. Arato is an asshole. He was also mostly a side character, but got his own route recently. The main route is much longer.
If you're a fast reader or you don't mind a slow build-up, it's great. Then I'd rate it 7-8 of 10.I understand. How do you rate it?
It is not the dislike for Arato. It is the force shoe horn of adding him in when there is not needed. If Arato had his own game, or this game was originally about him, or he was introduce at the very start and build up as the second antagonist, then it makes sense. But Arato appear like in the third chapter, and all of the sudden get a bunch of love from the DEV and force his back story into the series. It is like the DEV got bored with the original main plot, decided to just put him there and completely ruined the original three main characters. Maybe a self insert? I don't know? But just feels out of place, and kills the original plot of Kendo being King.I think mostly youve read people dont like Arato. Arato is an asshole. He was also mostly a side character, but got his own route recently. The main route is much longer.
I did say maybe. But hey if its not a self insert then its all good. But why shoe horn that Arato guy. Why not just create an entire new sage base on him?At last...
First, Kendo got accused of being my self-insert, all those months ago...
And now, Arato is being described as my self-insert...
The cycle is complete.
Well, to clear some misconceptions, I didn't get bored of Kendo or try to replace him. Arato was part of the plan from the start. And while the way I introduced him may be a bit messy, it's not something I'm planning to change. I understand that some people here want me to make Kendo pay for his actions or die whatever kind of weirdly dark turns you guys have concocted here, but in the end I'm a Kendo fanboy who wants the big cock old man to have an absolute victory.I did say maybe. I actually self insert as Erina. No I will not explain.Plot twist dev actually self-insert himself as Satoshi and he's making this game just to fulfill his cuck fantasy
Well its your game and story so I respect you as a creator. I am speaking strictly from my perspective but the issues is the investment of the original three main characters. It is not like I don't like the Arato character. I just don't care about him or want give him a chance because he wasn't the original plot. If he is a side characters then sure. But Arato is written and paced like a main characters. As least an antagonist.Well, to clear some misconceptions, I didn't get bored of Kendo or try to replace him. I think once the game is done it'll be evident why Arato is needed. His showdown with Kendo a few updates ago is already enough of a hint of what his role in Kendo's final ending will be.
But the biggest reason for his existence is the same reason of why I do anything as a porn game developer:
Because it's hot and fun.
Like suuure, I could take him out and make happy everyone who says "He sucks, he sucks!" but if I made any changes based on those kinds of comments then Kendo wouldn't be old or fat and Satoshi would be some super chad or whatever.
Plus reception of Arato has been overall positive. At least when it comes to my regular patrons, they all seem to enjoy both Kendo's and his content more-or-less equally. And he gives me the opportunity to delve in some scenarios that wouldn't fit Kendo's character, such as the whole video thing.
I think I'm literally missing 1 event somewhere in the bottle game and then Arato Ending 1 unlocks.I'm at 15/16 corruption on the Arato route.
There's only a blue exclamation mark over Arato's Room
I can still play the bottle game. All characters have won twice.
What am I missing?
ok, this one was unexpectedI actually self insert as Erina. No I will not explain.
I don´t thing kendo qualify´s as a fat ugly bastard. I mean he is objectively fat, and for Satoshi is a bastard in most canons, but never said once he was uglyI don't like Kendo, fat ugly bastard isn't my thing, but I can appreciate the story for what it is. Don't listen to a single thing people say dev, at the end of the day it's your story and it should be told start to finish as you would want it to. Personally I disagree with the concept of patreon user content for that reason, but obviously this isn't just a passion project; it is also an income portal.
Personally I prefer Arato's route much more, he's a lot more sadistic and Satoshi is more actively humiliated which is my thing. But I can appreciate Kendo for what it is, people looking to make demands or complaining about how things are going shouldn't be listened to - if you try and appease all of them then you will inevitably please none of them.
I don't know about others, but the complaint isn't Arato or Kendo themselves. It is how it took away from the original main focus of the story. The game clearly advertise Kendo in the front, but as the update went, It focused so heavily on Arato. Don't get it twisted. It is literally the shoe horn that I think kills it for some. Had this game been about Arato, this sure.I don't like Kendo, fat ugly bastard isn't my thing, but I can appreciate the story for what it is. So there is a game called Shadow of Desire by SHAMANDEV that I really like. It started out really good with the triangle characters. You got three route, cheating, cuckold and blackmail. You got the MC, main girl, and the antagonist. There are side chicks and side quest to get distracted with, but SHAMANDEV was mainly focusing on the big three. But just like King of Summer as the chapters started to progress, SHAMANNDEV started to add a bunch of random characters, plot and decision that made the game really messy and random, the interest in investing in the story got lost.Yeah I think by far the biggest Problem with Arato is his introduction. That and how other characters behave around him.
At first he just gets introduced and it's no big deal. He's just kindof there having an occasional scene of annoying Mary, but not much else. But then he kindof kidnaps the plot because he's needed for a big plot moment and the dev didn't really set him up that much before hand. So you just get one huge scene after another of just arato, arato and more arato.
And the problem isn't just if you dislike Arato himself, but that other characters behave differently around him and if you like how those characters act normally, then there's just nothing to enjoy about those scenes. Mary isn't fun and cheery anymore, Shizuka isn't subtle and mysterious anymore. You can't enjoy the normal personality of the characters you like, because they don't act like that anymore and you don't enjoy Arato. So it's just a big stretch of plot that's just filled with stuff you don't particularly enjoy.
But it's not all that bad. Once the game gets it out of it's system and finally reaches that big plot moment, depending on what route you choose, you're back to mostly the usual three with Arato just lurking in the background.
So if someone gets to that point and really doesn't like the Arato content, I would honestly recommend just looking up with choices lead to the kendo route, enable skipping unseen content and skip towards the scene with the final route choice. If you don't like Arato and his stuff then there's not much you loose by skipping those scenes till then.
