So does that mean the ending for the first option isn't actually visible yet? I was under the impression it was.

The two variations available are after the 2nd option. The first one (the one with the level 80 limit) will continue on the main story onto the 3rd and final ending, but that'll be added in the future.

Aaaah I thought the overcome adversity option led to the first ending to Kendo Route 2. Thank you for clarifying. I was worried I was missing a whole bunch of stuff from way before.

The game uses Koikatsu as a source, but the images are rendered, so you can't change them, or the characters in them.

Have you ever watched a Lets Play on YouTube? Can you, as the viewer, change anything about the game you're watching being played?

That's what this game is. All of the images in tis VN are effectively the recordings of what someone else (the dev) did with Koikatsu Studio. You experiencing the recording have zero control over the production, and cannot interact with or change any of the base Koikatsu assets.

Could the dev change characters or alter existing ones? Sure. But how they would go about introducing and integrating the new renders would be up to them. Again, it's not anything you would have any control over.
