I noticed there's a remake of this game. Does that mean the original version has been abandoned?

It's not finished, there's one final scene left to add, the ending itself. But i remember dev said that this spring, who knows what is going on with the game now.
I have a question about 0.9.39. Is there any possibility to take a loan at the Bank? I tried to talk with bank manager about loan, then Barbarian offered her "assets" but nothing happened. She said that lost her interest and dialogue ended. Did I missed something? Maybe I need to finish some quest before it?

not at all, the new one is a remake in very early development, the dev will use similar ideias, characters, locations and stories, but its a new thing

This might be a bit late reply, but I'm doing so anyway
.So basically, the banker believes that he doesn't need to support the barbarian for power, since he has a journal recording all the debts borrowers owe him. Now if you help to catch the goblin after requesting support against Hugh the mayor, he feels obliged to help you out in return by supporting against Hugh. However, if you've already helped out in catching the goblin before asking for support, he ignores you. In this case, ask for a loan from him, after which he will try to lick the barbarian's pussy to "check for her credibility". At this point, you have the option to "accidentally" tilt the candle on the reception desk on the journal, burning it up. After this, he agrees to support against the mayor.
In the "politics" questline, I'm at the stage where Hugh (the mayor) has been publicly executed, only to turn out that it was a golem. Now, in the walkthrough, it says to find Hugh's soul (or Hugh soul) in hell, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone please help me in this regard?

I've found a new love: this game. And it's way better than the gdmn remake or whatever. But it surely needs a proper walkthrough.The one posted here a millennia ago is annoying and wtf is up with hiding every section as "spoiler", making it harder to copy + paste into one single text file. And, also: the WT's are not in the same order as stuff happens in the game.
What I really like about this game, is that you can actually skip puzzles, riddles, wall hugging and whatnot and just spend hour upon hour by cheat-teleporting around the map, having surprise sexual encounters anywhere and everywhere. Oh, some monstrous growth blocking the way, let's chop it down. And then: oh fuck! Literally. In other words: what "Cock Tower" should be, and Deluded may be in the future.
