The problem is that the executable has incorrect POSIX permissions. The steps:

1. Drag the application to the Applications folder.
2. Open the Terminal application (in Applications/Utilities).
3. Type the following commands:

cd /Applications
chmod a+x The\ Last\ Barbarian\ 0.9.32\ MAC.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Last\ Barbarian\ 0.9.32\ MAC

That doesnt work either. MacOSX recognizes it as an application but still doesn´t start.

Thank you for the comment ViktorBlack! Seconding HanktheHunk3's comment. I've tried the Terminal commands but it doesn't seem to work.

Check your AV settings. The game uses external files to store your progress. If AV blocks game to change save files - game crashes.

It's funny. I answered in the post above. Why nobody read it?

AV? When I Check save files accessibility it say its okay

Hi, is anyone else experiencing a CTD during the orc attack on the tavern? More specifically at the end of the scene when the orc has to impregnate the barbarian, when I click on "cum". (V 0.9.33)

You gotta do some questing until the town's mayor, Hugh, can no longer prevent you from entering the house

edit : i tried this "start new game, than go back to main menu, go to options and click to off invert, then go back to the game and all will work" and it works.

Still a great game, but i think it's about time to fix things like, barbarian knowing a troll lives under the bridge before even talking with the mayor about it, or being able to talk with the mayor about the missing page without even starting the lychantropy story... there are many examples of stuff like that. It breaks the immersion and engagement with the story, some dialogue options should only be displayed after certain events occur.
