Let's be honest. Writing incest is ... challenging. There's an inherent psychological barrier to fucking your family members. It's a visceral reaction in the majority of people. Not to say you can't goon to it (or that I judge you), but in a realistic* story its very hard to overcome that barrier and realistically it would happen slowly, over the course of months (then very quickly towards the end) as two related people made consistent tiny steps toward the taboo, all the while choosing NOT to course correct like a regular person would. Basically what's happening with the AVN "Light of my Life".

Dev has mentioned that there will be a moment that you can forgo the challenge, but it will come with consequences yet unknown (it might become a branching point in the story, who knows). So yeah, you can eventually choose not to go through with it, if the dev doesn't change his mind. Given he has a lot of story already planned out, I kinda doubt that will happen.
Same, same. Dev had some personal issues, which delayed the 2nd update by a lot (including overheating pc, which made rendering in the summer near impossible). Things seem to be better now and dev is active on his Discord and Subscribestar, to keep everyone informed. Cant wait for the third update myself ^^,

I know, but the 'missed the bus' storyline continues in the meantime, so it's not like the dev is not continuing the game. While I would've preferred the ongoing storyline after reaching the city, I'm curious to know where this leads to and how Samantha will behave now all the others are gone and she has no one left to impress
