Yeah, I noticed everything was tied to the music slider when I lowered that and the main menu screen gunshots were suddenly muted. I was like "Well shit, that isn't right..." and just played with sound off completely.
There's almost zero forking, nearly no menu choices actually set variables. Meaning it's just small changes in dialogue, and other than that it's totally kinetic. This is WAYYYY different than the pervious version which was CHOCK-FULL of behind the scenes forking and conditions leading to different scenes.
Why the hell, Samantha is with you, not wishing to stay at any friend, without any money, the governor appears and she just desintegrate into thin air and don't appear again later? She chose to live on the streets? Was kidnapped?
Game is interesting, but dev need to at least double check his writing to see if stuff have MINIMUM logic.

12GB and it ends at the wasteland city? Or am I choosing the wrong selections? I played multiple times, different choices, and still get the same ending. I thought there would be more content after the bus ride. Maybe I did something wrong.
Played the asshole route, played the neutral route, played the nice guy route. Different scenes, sex scenes, conversations, but I figured for the size of the file you'd have more content, unless I really did something wrong.

lol I hate that shit too ngl. No one uses voice volume, everythings tied into music, or split between music and sound. I never understood why its impossible to have a third track for sound effects/moans/etc. Always fun playing a game with like 800 sound effects that you'd like to hear, then you finally get to an H-scene and its ear drum shattering loud.

the more skilled devs DO actually use it properly but this guy/team/gal/whatever seems to have renamed it but not actually used it so double annoyance points

Yeah I mean its definitely like 1 in 20 for sure. Just curious if you can split music and sound, wouldnt the next logical step be voice (aka sexual content noises)? lol. Idk, guess ignorance is bliss for me on this one.
Yes, absolutely, it's easy to do in renpy, you can define any number of custom sound channels you want, there's no limit. E.g. you can have one for temporary theme music, one for bgm, one for non-sex sfx, one for moaning, and one for voices.
