Level 2 lockpicking is as high as it goes in the current content. None of the Level 3 or 4 doors need to be unlocked to gain access to all of Laura's and Wendy's scenes.

You have to complete all of level 1 lockpicking before you can purchase level 2

yes, basically after finding it you give it to Melaniee unlock the various scenes in bed with her.

How did you progress past the first quest? I finished the first quest but the game won't let me speak to her anymore.
