The crass and easy observation to make regarding what could be framed as hasty capitulation to Patreon would be that the developer is possibly a cheese eating surrender monkey (whose breath likely also smells of red wine and baguette).

If the developer or any persons with French fondness are reading this: Je considère le français comme la plus belle langue. J'adore tellement de choses françaises. S'il vous plaît, riez. =)

Also: games with pornographic elements are already so niche that in order to be commercially viable to produce developers frequently have to compromise on their exact vision in order to find enough audience. Consequently, I find myself having to tolerate elements that I find off-putting in the vast majority of the relatively small proportion of releases that interest me and I don't understand why so many threads fill up with pages and pages of posts that don't quite come across as valuable criticism the creator can contemplate so much as egocentric, entitled, bashing.

Then again, this is the internet. This is a forum. What an idealistic idiot I am to hope for better.

it's amazing that the whole point seems to have been missed Patreon is forcing this change giving the developer 2 options change Iris or remover her from game completely. Realistically everything that has to be taken into consideration is a lot and I'm sure has weighted on the developer in making his decision i.e. number of patreons lost by removing or changing Iris, story rewrite, how many patreon will I loose if I switch platforms that aren't willing change, time to set up new platform, and many more nothing is ever perfect given the circumstances this is probably the best decision for him and his game

What's the point of this story though? If the game is just an excuse to get this family into a motel where they can have a bunch of lewd scenes with Thelma & Louise and Apollo Creed, then by all means, age up Iris so she can get in on the action. If the story is about a father protecting his helpless daughters while on the run from a group of deranged killers then changing Iris does impact the dramatic tension. Imagine if Clementine in Telltale's TWD 1 was 18 instead of 10- the whole idea behind that game would have been destroyed.

That the dev made this change due to Patreon rather than his own ideas for the script is worrisome. It's not misplaced to comment on that.

It will probably only come out a month later than when it's highest on Patreon. As a non-subscriber I may not have much to say, but developers who impose large delays on purpose are the unpopular ones.

Am I missing somethign????? The last two updates don't seem to have any new content whatsoever. It was literally like september of last year since I've seen anything new, and I think thats only because that's when I picked this VN up for the first time. How can you have two updates several months apart and have no new content?

ok, i used to like this game a lot, but with the last 2 updates it got no new content (if not less) and even more confusing.. i simply continued the game from last save and it ended the same way.. "added a scene with.. in the first update" - what does that even mean when the v is 1.85? "blabla patreon rules.." - again, what?? did you make all characters black and gay or something, what did you do? and why tf porn game creators still insist to get ass-drilled on patreon?? just stop using and paying this crappy platform unless you're just trying to grow cucumbers on shade.
