you need to talk with the "elder" in the elf ghetto (slum map). talk with him a couple of time and follow altina advice (there are three possibility based her 'mental state')
if you have done that talk with janine for end the section.
No and likely not any time that soon. SL just released an entirely different game for patrons the other day. I'd say at least late March-early April for next update.
I have a question. Is there an ending to this update like the others? I can't seem to find it x3.
I need some help. I'm currently at Yhilin right after the Zirantia portion. I'm trying to get the Yhilini mage order trials done but whenever I try to do the left-most one, Robin just says she needs time to complete it. I've completed the other three and obviously I can't finish the final one until I have the 4 before it done but as I said I can't progress one of those 4.
During the Govern/Rebuild Yhilin stage, one of the mage order trials requires that Robin do a seperate research. When you talk to her about research in the secret caves, it will come up as one of the options. There will be two related to the mage order, one gives you "access" to the main hall (cannot actualy enter it I think), and the other does the research required for the trial. (Note, if you get Aka's cure component during Simon's route, then you have enough time ot do all of Robin's research projects before the end of the chapter.)
If you are having trouble with the other alter in the trials (there is one on the right and far left), then that one is an alchemy trial. After interacting with the alter, you just go to the alchemy stall in the Yhilin square to buy the required ingredients, then go back to the trial. I will note that to get the best results with this one you need her potions license (I think).

in the robin "research map" is the second crystal from the left. after you had done that research the trial is "complete"
if you have the aka spell from simon route you can do all the research and allow qum special project. if you stop qum the "time slot" enough for all the research even if you don't recover the spell for aka during simon route
you are mixing the first "trial batch" during aka route (the four table. theoretical, alchemy, obscure and specialized) and the second in the chapter three (study, group combat, solo combat and theorietical)
This is the kind of game I came for the promise of porn but even if there's just text I got much more than what I was looking for. Gotta love Sierra's writting.
Thanks @Valtyr37 @Fireark @Fulminato. I thought I already finished that research but I forgot that I reloaded a save and did Yhilini magic instead. I had Qum research scheduled at the time so I didn't realize it immediately but now that I just got back from Eustrin and checked, and looks like it's the final one I need.
Didn't know you could ignore Qum's research if you missed Aka's cure. Info to keep in mind for the future!
Yes. Just checked the wiki, and you are correct. The alchemy happens in the first round of the trials. My bad.
Now if only I could figure out the correct order of research for the second round, with Riala. Seems like you only get 2 completed before Gawnfall, 2 matter for Gawnfall, but 1 seems to matter a lot for after the meeting in the holy section of the Tower

i don't think there is a "right" path in chapter 4.
for the synod you have 2 complete research and one underway.
- base defence: it's matter only if done in the first slot, the HQ stats are checked only in the erosia prelude section. it's mean you can spen less pron in hq defence or hit the best result with xertis. if you have the money for magic 20+ i think you can skip it.
- unpeople trasformation: do in the first slot (if you had done the first unpeople research in chapter three) allow dari to be cured and possibily join the harem, if dari join there is a +2 rp with ginasta and can matter in fucklord-dk confrontation. in the synod can help in the unpeople vote, the bonus with dari join is massivea and the research only started give you some motion score too. but it's not required if you have a optimized playthrough and follow the succubi accepted path. for my game it's fundamental for the best in the confrontation.
- orc diversification: if do in the first slot change a vote in the orc section of the conflict, and the increase of tak'kan score can give you another vote for the cee'kan region. easying hit 80% in that vote. in the synod grant a +1 hester score. this is my third research, i can achive all without complete it.
- sex-purity: in the erosia prelude grant +5 rp with ginasta (mutualy exclusive with dari gain because you can complete only one project for that point), in the synod grant a massive help if succubi are accepted from the church, a only started research still give a good bonus in that vote, if you go for the diverge/new religion research started or complete don't matter. it's my second project, that +5 motion score is realy important.

Does anyone know any info on the next update? What's it about or when is the release?
I think it is probably going to be a while the dev recently been working on Once Ever After(one of the Dev's other games). Sierra Lee also made a post on patreon about having someone doing possibly doing some artwork for the game. As far as I can see nothing has been set in stone for this though. The dev also made a post about looking at the plot outline for chapter four.
Yeah but that was 22 days ago. The last update 41.4 was released on February 8. That was 44 days I am going, to be honest, 41.4 was a disappointment. We only got changes to reflect what happens on the update before that and no story progress. At this pace, I might as well move on. The story is good but the update times are getting longer we are getting less content every update. It seems to me like Sierra is either working on too many projects or is just doing the same thing other content producers are doing drip feeding people content -_-
