I'm starting to think this game has been going for too long. People upgrade their gigs, get OS corruption and need formattin, etc. and you end up loosing your saves, having you play 9 years worth of game from the start. And the chances of that happening in 9 years in nearly 100%.
Well, the game is almost over anyways. And I don't see why any of the stuff you've mentioned is in any way relevant to losing your saves. Just upload them on GoogleDrive, a USB drive, or somethin' and you wont lose em. Hell, play it on steam - it backs it up for you.

I've personally invested in a Lightweight Fire Chest that has everything, from game save usbs to employment records to my passport. One box for the important stuff in life

just so you understand the reason people hate on ntr/sharing is not because it's pixels it's simply because we find the act of it incredibly distasteful. of course the degree of distaste widely varies depending on the moral standing of their personal beliefs. Think of it like this. the majority of men when they get involved in a game like this they put themselves into the main protags shoes. they literally become them in the fantasy sense. just like when we were kids and we played with toy soldiers (for the older folk here) it's the imagination of them being the hero/soldier....so if a guy finds it horribly disgusting to see someone they love betray them or he finds it unnatural and weird for him to share a loved one in that way intimately with another man then yeah he's isn't going to want that in his story/fantasy. on the other hand since majority of men have the same identical thought pattern of how they immerse themselves into a story if they like that in the story then that kind of means they like doing that irl most likely.

me personally i find the idea of ntr and sharing to be just....disgusting....and so does a VAST majority of men...that's why unless a game is specifically about ntr most devs make it optional because its such a jarring and divisive kink.
Pointless and unsubstantiated claim about what the "vASt MaJOrItY" of men are like aside, you don't need to justify yourself about why you like or dislike one fetish or another, no one has a problem with that.

The problem most of the time is just that the obsessively "anti-NTR" crowd is remarkably anti-fun for people that are supposedly mature enough to consume adult fiction. Erotic fantasy can magically insert sex into all kinds of random activities in the most outlandish ways, stories about interbreeding with fictional species and races that are totally different from human beings, and create all kinds of fictional hyper-sexual scenarios that you'd never see in your real life.

But the moment something resembling a woman having more than one male romantic/sexual partner happens, without fail someone pops up with the usual entitled complaints about how it should have "ntr" in the title/tags or that the dev should rework their entire game and story to make it "optional". With some people it is never "well I personally didn't really like that specific scene, but it made sense for the story and I'm still enjoying everything else in the game so let's just move on", it is always the dev's fault and it is like they personally wronged them by "ruining" the game.

I don't really understand the point of trying to make it about "moral standing" or "personal beliefs" either. I mean, apply that rationale to literally anything else that could be contentious about the game, let's say violence and murder for instance. Can you imagine how insufferable it would be to have a bunch of people trying to moralize and come to an 18+ game thread telling the dev that they ruined the game by having the protagonist kill people? Or demanding that the dev makes it optional for Simon to kill the bartender at the start of the game? That might sound like a ridiculous comparison nowadays but violence in videogames was a "jarring and divisive" thing back in the 1990s and early 2000s and devs had to deal with a lot of nonsense censoring their games.

I just want to repeat that I don't have a problem with you having a distaste for actual ntr or even just sharing or swinging or whatever else. But I just hope you can agree that, as it was the topic being discussed in the thread, the people that go as far as review-bombing a good game or lashing out at the dev or demanding that the game be reworked to make it "optional" are usually being pretty fucking immature.

And besides, the game is very long, which is great, but replaying it is tedious, which is why I'm holding back on playing it until it's finished. I'm stuck right at the part where they get a castle.

This game is a masterpiece both story-wise and as a rpg. I would wait a couple more years if it would make the game even better.

I loved the game while I played it, I'm not questioning its quality.
Dev has said she takes inspiration in Brandon Sanderson's books which I love.

it's not about justifying. i responded to the statement of "it's just pixel's" and not understanding why its such a big deal. so i explained the simple psychology of it. my personal preferences aside it doesn't change the truth of the statement. and as for the vast majority that actually is the truth as well. and despite what you think about it it still is a jarring and divisive kink by your own arguments even now in how you took my statement. And i clearly said that if the game isnt intended to be specifically be centered around ntr then devs usually make it optional because of how jarring that kind of kink is. that isn't censoring. that is respecting peoples kink preference. unless you are a part of the same ideology of people who were trying to force people who aren't into specific kinks to accept things they find distasteful....like what happened to the gays back in the day? force a particular way of life or sexual preference on them that they didn't want? you know that kind of spring boarded a lot of things and conversations today on many other similar arguments :p

i personally found this game rather enjoyable story wise. when i started playing it i missed the whole swinging thing and there is no ntr tag but obviously there were a few scenarios in there and forced my way through by just ignoring it and speeding through the scenes. thankfully being a text based story it was rather easy to ignore. regardless of the few scenarios i still rather enjoyed the game as a whole and the whole situation is at least more tolerable as i had to force myself to rationalize (she's a succubus, what did you expect). the game was good overall but the discussion was about answering a simple statement someone made about not understanding.

When it comes to your between ntr/sharing and murder that is a very difference conversation to compare it to. murder and killing is not a new thing and has been around for a very very long time. it is inescapable. ntr, swinging, cuck porn and such is a relatively new and depending on the type ntr a way of humiliation of men when it started and is still fairly prevalent in that aspect. most men find it "very bad" because its literally a full on act of betrayal or the swinging because they just don't want someone else to be sticking their dick into his woman (male translation simply means fucking the woman he loves). the reason it is so targeted is because people still to this day find it reprehensible when a partner cheats on their counter as a general rule. even if they aren't married. so culturally yeah.....cuck porn isn't exactly a thing guys are going to stick with as a whole.

Really like the idea that after a nuclear holocaust someone finds TLS saves is someone's fire chest.

Or demanding that the dev makes it optional for Simon to kill the bartender at the start of the game?
There was a person who wrote something like that in this thread, btw, although for a somewhat different reason.

I disagree with the notion that "ntr" is an entirely new concept.
There has been a historical tendency of romanticizing cheating and affairs for a LONG time.
From a religious standpoint, like how Aphrodite cheating on Hephestaus with Ares in Greek Mythology, was portrayed by many Rennaisance painters as some hot steamy love-affair, and not as a plainly bad thing
To the medieval concept of "courtly love", which was practically straight up just sexualising knights banging married noble women. This "genre" was even concidered to be mostly a good thing for a long time, before it fell out of favor. (Hence why Lancelot got pushed out of the "ideal knight" position by Galahad, in Arthurian mythos in later years.
To just a general prescedent found in many cultures, especially those with pologamy, of a thought that "better men" will win over women in the end.
It's not new, and humanity has a complicated history with the idea.

And not to be the bearer of bad news but most men also agree that murder is pretty bad outside of fiction, so your argument doesn't really hold together. I think the comparison is more than fair.

Did you get the one Kai had at the prologue? You are able to remove your party members weapons and armor, (Recommended to strip Altina so Robin can have good starting gear.
Yeah once he died I started over to test if I could keep the gear, so I got that one. So far I've only missed that one in the succubus sewers. It bothers me a bit but oh well, besides this game seems like it's very replayable with lots of options so I'll just try to minmax my next playthrough, and I'll have to check the investing guide, I probably messed up there too.

Chapter 3 I'm going into "Mastermind's Unmen" and it's forcing me to run two succubi. Walkthrough says NOT to run them. But as this snip shows, I cannot remove them or change the party.. Any advice would be appreciated. The succubi end up locked out of lust-based skills and Simon gets to watch 3 party members die fairly quickly.

I think Support Slaves/Servants/Allies can cleanse their anti lust status

I'm sorry I'm talking about when I'm in the actual boss battle. This specific situation requires a different in-battle party. It doesn't matter if I can use abilities outside of battle if I'm in the battle. Have you done Chapter 3 Mastermind's Unment?
