Done. Trying almost every possible choice up to early chapter 4 (yes, including different variant of Altina and Varia).
ALMOST, because too many.

Enjoying every piece of conversation.
And yup, still loving the relationship between Nalili & Carina.

Didn't realize tho, my hand just kept screenshot the game continuously whenever something interesting or fun popping up, resulting 14k of screenshot

Will the story mode version be updated to the latest version? I am asking as the combat feels unbalanced as hell. We cant grind levels to help buy pass how difficulty they are. We do not get enough money to buy enough recovery items and progress the town stuff at the same time. If we are spending all our money on recovery we get soft locked from progressing the story of the game. The story mode mode is the only way I managed to get past mid game and save his wife. But it is not up to date with the latest version of the game so I can see the rest of the game now.

Wait what? Potions cost from 50 Sx, you get a bunch for free and it's not unusual to have thousands of Sx on hand. There are a few hard fights, especially in the optional challenges, but if you're running out of Sx spending on potions you're not using the tools available to you.

What it says there under 'Current content' describes it pretty good imo.
It's an RPGM game, which should give you at least some basic connotations as well.
In my absolutely not at all humble opinion it's still way underrated with an average of 4.5 stars here.

Sex scenes are hot and varied, making great use of magic and stuff to create uniquely sexy situations, but mainly text-based with only a few complemental images in the background. I think they're top-notch, but this game is an actual game that you play mainly for the epic story.

MC starts out as a single fighter getting entangled in a mysterious plot that has him rise to leading a world power. Lots of political and economical decisions in the game that directly shape the world around you.

Not sure what else to say without writing an essay, look at reviews if you need more. Better approach though would be to just play it, it's a quick download and definitely worth your time.

It's an adult RPGMaker game, meaning that you navigate your characters, each having a specific set of combat-related skills, through the locations in a peaceful manner, talking with other people and interacting with objects, all of which is interrupted by turn-based fights.

The fights are prominent and fun enough to be interesting, but they're not the main focus of the game.

Story-wise, it's one of the more complicated games out there, which combines somewhat intricate world-building, where sex is a crucial part of the way the world works, with an ambitious story. It's quite text-heavy, but not ridiculously so. Think mainstream Western RPGs (Baldur's Gate 3, for instance).

The prominent features are the number of choices you're allowed to make, and the way the game follows them, and also the unusual political, social and occasionally philosophical themes.

Sex scenes are text-based, with art. Kink-wise, it's a bit on the dominant side.

On the more abstract level, the game's core fantasy is 'sad man makes things right, unfucking himself and this crapsack world in the process'.

A completionist run is about 100 hours.

I hear that to play on joiplay you need to disable joiplay cheat engine. Older version definitly worked for me. But this was about year or two ago.

I would hold off until the Postgame World update (the last major update)

- Gryndine River was updated and always intended to be accessible, but the entrance wasn't reopened until just now.

- The Forest of the First Root is open again. There's nothing there, but people wanted it.

- The Givini Poorhouse has a new map, if you have enough Ardoheim score.

- New event progressing across multiple maps. In my opinion, this is not worth tracking down if you've already played the postgame.

- Balance for the changes in Stineford has been tweaked (not retroactive).

- Janine appears with a new conversation in her retreat (if her quest was completed).

- Characters appear in the Ardford council chambers depending on Vhala's quest.

Kinda sad that this game punishes cheating. Like...why? It's a single player game. The story is great, but sometimes I don't really want to deal with some of the functions and I just want to roll through it without having to plan everything. Considering it uses RPGM you would think it would be fine with cheating, especially given its length. Not gonna lie, the cheating punishment is one of the main reasons I've yet to pick the game back up and start a new run.

For the most part the "punishment" amounts to a snarky comment and is only for pretty blatant cheating or winning fights that are intended to be forced loses. The only real exceptions I can think of are a few times when cheating results in you getting a less than optimal outcome from an event, but since you're already cheating, you can just change the flags in your save and get the effects of the best outcome anyways.
