Sep 28, 2016 wow. is this one piece project? its amazing story and the rest of the mechanics of it BUT after some time it become 2 steps and update 2, 1 photo and a 1/2 of a step and update.

p.s. i cant wait for the excuses of "i work alone, i took a brake etc.."lol

There were no "half-steps", each of the 79 updates was long and interesting. 100-150 hours of game content, and interesting at that! Unique story, well-developed characters, high-quality mechanics.
If over time some of the updates have become shorter in plot, then this is due to the size of the existing game. It was easy to develop the story in the first chapter, where there were only a few characters. But when there were several dozen, changes in the mechanics of battles, spells and synergies take much more time. For example, the recent 78th update. After 4 months of development, from the point of view of the plot, it did not give anything. And all sorts of whiners can start to complain... But! 169 achievements on Steam and over a hundred animations during battle - that's a lot of work

Can you name at least one game where 10-15 hours of content are added every year? Let's leave aside official games (a huge company has been developing Elder Scrolls 6 since 2018 and hopes to release it in 2028...), only erotic ones?

PS Also, don't forget that during this time Sierra has released FIVE fully finished games and is actively working on the sixth

ok lets analyze that. first image is the file ok dont get upset. Release cycle 60% of them have that but none of them keep it (with the same excuses i said earlier). "Significant increase in 2020 and 2023" omg so if it delays after we can say at least he/she/they<-- (dont know how many are at this project) made "significant increase"? the "game" is a 9 almost 10 year old and you pick a 3 year work as good thing? ok. As i said i love the game and i contributed to it a long time ago but after delays i quit.
if you farm and the plants don't grow after 9! years you lose faith after some time.

first this rambling had very less sense in it. my english isn't the best, but usually i can understand the meaning people want go through, but this time... boh, random words assembled in random sentence. charming.

and your reading ability it's at the same level, because if there is an increase in the time between release meaning it's a worse situation not better, and over 10 years of development [we past the 10 years mark in november of last year] only 3 (i think it's more close to two, but i don't have the time or the energy to analyze that, so i go with the conservative estimate of 3 years) there was a noticeable slow down in development and releases. not in content for each release.

70%+ of time keeping a good scheduled release cycle it's a impressive result.

PS: if you supported the project in the past 1) you will know the dev it's one, and the art is commissioned to a single artist for consistency. 2) you should know the dev don't interact with this forum because it's toxicty. 3 )the game doesn't have any "photo" but draw art. and the art roller very, very, recently. it was a text game for most of it's life cycle.

Kinda? All that's left to make is the post game and whatever other updates Sierra still has planned, but the post game sounds very meaty. It's hard to get a grasp from the weekly updates how long it might take for that. Right now you can beat the game and view the epilogue, the post game will be a snapshot of the world in the future.

Yeah basically all that is left is postgame aka seeing the world having changed based on your choices

and then just waiting for the art to be finished and a run of bug fixing and game improvements over time as well, like I believe one is changing a bit of chapter 2 so that you at least interact with Alina(think she still can not join the party if you don’t select saner or slutty personality)

Though that will take a while but otherwise game is fully complete

Yeah im like 90% sure that I recall the benefits for not doing that outweigh it really shortly after and make up for the possible missed investment early on as long as you plan out your investments.

whoring qum amount to very little in the end. the money you got it's to small to let you capitalizate for real.
i think the best people were able to gain was few hundred of thousand pron for end of chapter 4 (300K IIRC). not enough to pick a 'standard' project in chapter 5

Nah, actually it barely matters at all, in terms of Pron.
The optimal chapter 1 investments are the Special Supplier, Mine Processing, Yhilin Bank and Stineford Magic Shop. Adding an extra 15000 doesn't get you a single additional investment that provides longterm profit.
This lets you get everything but the Aram Supplier and Eustrin Supplier in Megails Route, neither of which you can get for Qums extra 15000.
Run the numbers yourself, but the fact of the matter is that those 15000 don't do anything significant.
Now instead, take a look at all the ways that the game punishes you for whoring Qum instead. Seriously, even characters introduced in chapter 5 will lose RP for this decision. It's suboptimal. And rightfully so.
In the famous words of... someone I can't recall from this fandom "Whoring Qum is like kicking a slutty puppy"

Because people don't understand what TEXT BASED mean... if you look through reviews you'd see that quite a few lower scored reviews list "weak visuals" as negative and part of the reason for lower score.

Honestly, any review that is going to complain about visuals and art in a text based game should be immediatelly deleted because it's not representive of the game... it's representive of the game the reviewer thinks it should be. Same goes for those who complain about RPGM elements in RPGM game...
