Interestingly, replacing files in the game's directory with new ones found fromI had the same problem but theres an easy fix. Refer to Fear5d's comment. You must be registered to see the links
A solution for the animation freezing I already posted before, as for the other stuff, idk.Interestingly, replacing files in the game's directory with new ones found fromYou must be registered to see the linksstops the harmless "profile" popup error. However, the executable no longer launches the game. It has something to do with a name value error, iirc.
Currently, the only way I can launch the game is to not use the updated NW.js files and whenever there's any movie or animation -- such as the intro movie or the first bedroom scene after the first mission -- the game either freezes if I'm unlucky or the animation simply becomes frozen.
Any other solutions out there to try? Thanks in advance.
Yeah, I tried that, but as I mentioned that isn't working for me. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me though.A solution for the animation freezing I already posted before, as for the other stuff, idk.You must be registered to see the links
You mentioned you tried the one on the nwjs website, but the link I posted is for an older version of nwjs. Are you sure you tried it? This fix works perfect for others and myself included.Yeah, I tried that, but as I mentioned that isn't working for me. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me though.
I did, yes. I first tried the version 43 or 48 or whichever it was from the linked discussion. Then I tried the latest version 100 of both the normal and SDK from the NW.js site itself. Perhaps I should try a slightly older version from what's in the Reddit thread akin to your suggestion. I'll give that a try later. It's worth a shot. If it doesn't work, then eh, it is what it is. I appreciate you for responding back though! Cheers! You mentioned you tried the one on the nwjs website, but the link I posted is for an older version of nwjs. Are you sure you tried it?
