Maybe its just me but when I download the save file and try to use it I get this error when loading into the first save file.

I tested it and it works for me perfectly, you have to copy the "saves" file or everything inside of the file and paste it on your by changing the "saves" file on your game or changing everything inside de folder.

I get what you're saying and appreciate the advice on how to try to get it working but the only problem is that its just that only the first save slot causes the issue for some reason.

I deleted copied over my original save and then I tried deleting everything in the save folder under the game and in the AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AAGTH-1640988256 and pasting the saves there as well but the save error I mentioned still comes up when loading the first save on page 1 but the other saves can be loaded without any issues.

Hmmm if the other saves work they are not that far for being completed to the current update, they just need to discover everything added to the 3.0 update and the old scenes that got fixed.

When you reach the castle entrance and talk to the guard, there is a message saying "that's the limit of the main quest", so, you will be able to complete it in the next update.
