The Lewd Deal 2? Analyzing Sales and Content Goals
Big thanks to everyone who purchased TLD. As I mentioned in the game, there is a chance for a sequel, but it depends on where the sales go in the first year. Here are my current sales numbers and future plans.
Will I be able to develop The Lewd Deal 2?
In the first 30 days after its release, TLD sold 2,460 copies and has 6,840 outstanding wishlists. Considering that many copies are not sold at the base price (due to discounts and localized pricing), and after accounting for the Steam cut, taxes, and expenses, the game needs to sell at least 8K to 10K copies in its first year for me to justify dedicating the time and resources to making a sequel.
Currently, the chance of reaching this target is around 50%, as most games typically make a significant portion of their sales within the month of release and during the first 3-4 sales events.
Feedback:
Feel free to make a post in the Steam forum and/or leave a review sharing your thoughts on what you would like to see in the sequel. This could include specific fetishes, poses, or even story ideas. I have a vision for the game, and there are things I would never do, but sometimes ideas from customers can be quite valuable, so I will at least read and consider them.
Pricing and content in The Lewd Deal 2:
My goal is to make ~1,000 renders and ~36 animations. Essentially, this means about 160 more renders and three times as many animations compared to the first game, while keeping the price the same. The development will take five months and can occur when I take a break from working on my main game. This will happen in mid-2026.
Story/Fetishes in The Lewd Deal 2:
Most of the ideas I have for the sequel emerged while I was adding music and polishing the writing for the first game. I expect to have even more ideas to expand upon and refine by 2026. As this will be a direct continuation, there will still be two main routes. Similar to TLD, the sex scenes in both routes will be divided into sub-scenes, allowing you to choose which ones to play and which to skip.
The vanilla route will feature two sub-routes, which will diverge based on a choice you will make. If I say anything more than that, I will spoil the story, so let’s move on to the other route.
The fetish route will include multiple “meetings” between Ashley, the main character, and his wife. Each encounter will escalate in terms of fetishes—essentially, the BDSM scenes will become progressively harder until Ashley is fully submitted by the end.
As for my main game, Agent Horny, the release on November 11th is slowly approaching. Wishlist it if you still haven't.
