Leni was the hardest because I never use cheats so I didn't even know where it was
I don't understand, what's so wrong about constructive criticism nowadays with y'all snowflakes? It's a parody game, doesn't need to be exactly like the original artstyle, but when there is room for improvement through inspiration from actual artists, Why are you crying so much?So...you're complaining that the devs made their parody look like the source material? The nerve!. Why is any one of our ideas about what their game looks like the least bit relevant? Are they somehow obligated to make their AVN graphics look more like you think would "fit" comics?? Because all comics ever made definitely look exactly the same, so you lumping all the decades of different art styles into one singular thing makes total sense.
I've heard a lot of bizarre complaints about AVNs before, but never one that makes less sense to me than complaining that a parody AVN looks like the show it is based on.
If you wanna mimic the original artstyle, this wouldn't work at all. You'd have to improve it somehow, and like i said in my previous reply, as i solo developer i understand it's difficult to do everything by yourself, though i do not care how long updates take, especially when there is room for inspiration and improvement. Then the question is does the game follow the origin of the story, ie the show, or does it follow other people's version of the characters?
The original or zerox copies, copies, copies, copies, copies.
Yes, that's understandable.. I'm not saying it should be more accurate to the show though, just that a little more time could be spent on character sprites as much as there is on scenes/backgrounds. And NFSW artists like Incognitymous, Area, and many others could be taken as inspiration. Doesn't need to be as good as them, just better.I understand where you're coming from. I would also like the art to be closer to that of the show, like other fan games have done, but that's their artistic choice. Personally, the thing I care about most (besides the copious amounts of incest) is the fact that effort is being taken to make sure all characters are IN character as much as possible. It's a Herculean effort to consider character routes based on each character's personality and how they might approach a situation, especially juggling 11+ characters.
I just don't think our game is for you. And hey, that's okay! That's why there's a variety of different games out there!I don't understand, what's so wrong about constructive criticism nowadays with y'all snowflakes? Take Kunoichi Trainer for example, their initial Artsyle was HORRIBLE. But they revamped the entire sprite sheets after a few updates. I understand, as a solo developer, it's not easy to do everything on your own. But I don't care how long the updates take, just needs to get better. That's it. Stop whining.
Well, you're either a troll or one of the least self-aware people in the history of posting. You come to this thread and post criticism & negativity...but you label that "constructive" because if those changes were made it would conform better to your opinions/preferences.I don't understand, what's so wrong about constructive criticism nowadays...just needs to get better. Incognitymous obviously sticks to a style that is extremely recognizable and at this point may as well be considered his own. If you note the way he draws eyes and genitalia it's all pretty well defined. DMF has his style, I like it, and I wouldn't want him to bastardize in a way that not only slows down dev time but also results in an inferior product. And NFSW artists like Incognitymous, Area, and many others could be taken as inspiration. Doesn't need to be as good as them, just better.
Also, take "Rick & Morty: A Way Back Home"; the character sprites next to the dialogue are VERY Accurate to the show. But in the scenes, and H-Scenes, as well as Animations, they are heavily modified and look way better due to the context of the game. One could also save time in this way, make simple and accurate sprites for dialogue, so you have more time for highly detailed and inspired art and maybe even animations.
No such Luck is such an infamous episode, one that's particularly hated for how out of character the whole family acts. Will the previous events of the no such luck episode play any role in any of the future chapters? Like will any of the characters talk about it more or maybe on the anniversary of when it happened, Lincoln's sisters do something (probably sexy) to make it up to him?
As someone who hasn't watched the show it sounds like I don't want to know about it, and you have nothing to gain from including the loud house equivalent of dragon ball evolution into your game just so regular viewers aren't happy. But then again, maybe it did. It's really going to come down to if mentioning the events in detail will benefit our greater story. Given there's many people playing this game who've never watched the show, I think many of them would find it jarring and very out of character for what's been established, that in the "recent" past, Lincoln's entire family decided he was so bad luck, they made him live outside in the backyard and sold off all of his belongings.
That's not really comedy, it's kind of just straight up child abuse. Which is again, why that episode is so infamous in the Fandom as a whole.
Will the "Hands on training" be anal?I am the game's writer.
We have no plans for Lincoln to be able to "Steal" his mother from his father.
You will be able to have "special mother/son" bonding sessions and for her to give Lincoln some "Hands on training", but she will never be her son's "Girlfriend."
She is happy with her Husband the man who knocked her up 10 times.
Lincoln just can't compete with his father in whose a better lover, hell lose, badly.
I mean i think it would be kind of a fun story to explore as a drama scene, but with you rewriting it a little to make more sense with the charactersNo such Luck is such an infamous episode, one that's particularly hated for how out of character the whole family acts.
I know we very briefly mentioned it in chapter 1, but didn't get into the nitty gritty details of just how cruel the rest of the Louds were to Lincoln in that episode.
So overall, I'm not sure, as it may be in "our" universe the episode didn't play out to the full extent it did in the main cartoon one.

That episode was early when Loud House was still trying to find it's own identity and hadn't fully committed to the family being wholesome versus abusive for comedy sake. Hell, Lori is almost a completely different character in some of those episodes, coming off more like a blonde Vicki from Fairly Odd Parents instead of the second Mom character she'd eventually become.
So for right now, probably not anything involving NSL, because of what an outlier of an episode it is. Unless the story hits a point where revealing such a terrible thing happened to Lincoln is worth exploring.
Even though our universe runs partially on Toon logic like the show, we've established enough of a serious tone that Lincoln being forced to live in his pajamas in the backyard for several days with all of his possessions gone, just wouldn't fly trying to be played for comedy.
reads like you want to write some like it in so far as his family 'treats him bad' but not abuse. if you don't have the continuation of this update planned. given what you wrote it got worse, why not have his family find out about what he said and cold shoulder him or some such.No such Luck is such an infamous episode, one that's particularly hated for how out of character the whole family acts.

Ah yes, the crown jewel of “bad early Loud House episodes”, that takes me back. That episode and the board games one made me dislike Lynn for quite a while. Just like the power-saving or the tutor episode or the genderswap, everyone seemed out-of-character or too mean-spirited because they didn’t have the characters established yet, but I digress. No such Luck is such an infamous episode, one that's particularly hated for how out of character the whole family acts.

Funny thing is, (for you and anybody else not aware of the original), this extended flashback is somewhat an adaptation of the handful of episodes that revolve around Lincoln and Ronnie. Believe me,when Lincoln gets home, Lori will have enough fury to make up for the rest of the family given it unfortunately ends up affecting her directly. She also gets him to apologize pretty quickly after, so not much for the other families to find out and react. I personally hope the part where Lincoln almost makes the exact same mistake is cut.reads like you want to write some like it in so far as his family 'treats him bad' but not abuse. if you don't have the continuation of this update planned. given what you wrote it got worse, why not have his family find out about what he said and cold shoulder him or some such.
also if luan does not make puns when her and lincoln having sex or such imma be slightly disappointed
uhhh.... does that mean there's a lot of TMI dialogue then?Half of the sisters are older than him, so expect "being with a woman with more experience than me" as a topic being a thing in the game, at least with Lori and Luna, the ones with actual existing couples at the start of the game.
