Just dropped by to make a small announcement.

We're spinning off the pong minigame into it's own full game and releasing it on Steam. You can check out the store page here:

It'll have two player VS mode, and a bunch of single player content like an arcade and story mode. The initial launch will just have VS mode (Hence the early access status)

Though you could put the real games there. What dont you do that?

It costs $100 to apply to put a game on Steam.
And I'm not sure how well "This game is free but you can donate to support us on Patreon" is going to fly on steam, since Valve might see that as specifically trying to avoid giving them their cut. (they have rules about that kinda thing, even.)

So worst case is I spend $100 and get the game pulled on those grounds. Best case is *still* that I spent $100 that I can't get back (because free game) that I could have spent getting another sex scene or two into the next episode. Additionally the marketing value of having it on steam in the first place is diminished because the discovery algorithm is going to be biased against free games that *don't make them any money*., because Steam is a store first and foremost. Unless I manage to tack some kind of paid DLC unto them to make them "free to play" games. And that also means I couldn't have them for free on Newgrounds.

Takkyu Tournament as a standalone release on the other hand *is* gonna cost a few bucks; so I can recoup the fees and it also shouldn't have that problem.

Also I was thinking it would be best if my steam debut was a SFW game. For marketing and to help build a track record and all. That's not the reason this game is SFW, (two player VS porn game seems ill advised); but it IS the reason we're making it our first Steam game. (Maybe even console if I can manage it but that's getting ahead of myself.)

TBH I was actually kind of planning this move even *before* steam opened the floodgates to porn games and I just stayed the course regardless. Now that it IS a thing though, *future* LBB episodes might actually go up on steam. But if/when they do they'll be much longer episodes that count more as "full" games.

Well Snow Daze and Princess and Conquest were patreon games and then were sold on steam so there is surely a way to make your games be paid stuff.

Takkyu Tournament is now available!
As mentioned before, the first version focuses on VS mode only to provide an improved version of what was in the minigame in this episode, but with multiplayer support and full gamepad customization.

I forgot to mention this in the previous post, but I also wanted to make this project so that we as a studio could have a SFW project that can generate revenue as both a backup to Patreon's policy shifts or also anyone that wants to support us in general but doesn't want to pledge to patreon or actually buy NSFW for whatever reason.

(Contract with Valve limits how much I can 'undercut' Steam that also tempers getting too carried away with handing out free copies. Though FYI, Itch.io copies are completely DRM free. Steam copies would have whatever Valve's default is.)


Honestly I'm behind schedule on the usual NSFW and working on this didn't help that, but I've got a couple artists and writers working on both Noire and Amaryllis's upcoming episodes so I hope to catch back up. Not making excuses otherwise just saying something for the people waiting to hear news on that.

Hmm... yeah, I suppose it counts as complete.
Working on the next episode but that'll be it's own seperate standalone game again.
