Imma throw my 2 bits into the ring for olivia being at least a side piece. She has that comfortable BFF youve known forever vibe that makes for a great LI or side girl. Yall seem to think the corpse at the end is gwen and Ill be pissed if it IS her but at the same time I kinda agree with the 'not totally sold on her' crowd too. The good news is, if shes the dead one, I have less to worry about with preggo content for a while!

well for me I dont see full meltdown so much as an "I need space" reaction... as a duke and a prince, you dont let the underlings see you cry/vulnerable/weak or anything other than totally in control. The poses and facial expressions in this game are so hyper exaggerated its hard to really pin down anything based on that alone. Theres also the idea that its someone new we havent 'seen' but our character knows, but imo this doesnt feel right either. Guess we'll just have to see eh

I don't mind tropes and cliches, life is full of them. My hope is I am offering an alternative from the regular VNs that follow the harem trope where there is 50 girls and the MC humps all of them. There is nothing wrong with that, I enjoy those games, but there is a hole in AVNs for something a bit more substantive story wise. I will do my best to achieve that for those who want something more.

I'm a beginner when it comes to graphics. I have come along way in 12 months and I have a long way to go. I'm the first to admit that. TLC will remain a work in progress for some time.
Again that was not meant to be critisim. I prefer an engaging story over top notch visuals. Which...kinda low key is a slide at the visiuals but I tried to stress that the story and fantasy setting more than make up for the visuals maybe not being the best there are out there. I mean there are AVNs or video games with top notch visual but no substance. And I personally take an interesting setting and story over top notch visuals any day.

I don't take the criticism personal. The fact these people come here to F95, get a developing game for free, and expect a AAA masterpiece just makes me laugh.
Some of the criticism I have brought on myself like the Livvy character and story line. I knew that was going to upset some people, but I want to create something that pushes boundaries and people will go WTF and then go oh, that makes more sense when they discover something completely different is going on.
Well, the world ain't black and white afterall. Like that more mature approach.
It's important to me that the story make sense.
If there are logic or plot holes in the story, just do like Micheal Bay does: More explosions!!
Magic is cool and I love it, but I don't like it when magic gets overused as a reason. Jacinta tells the courier, when people ask questions just tell them it is magic. I want more to it, for example, the Fell's ability is not just magic, it is too easy. Sarissa, on her path, asks Lydia why do you appear different to everyone else using mage sight. There is a story there as to how and why the Fell can do what they do and why no other assassins can do it.
Yup, it's intriguing and I am looking forward to all the explanaitions!

Alright I'm curious. Were there any story/dialogue changes in CH1 when it was touched up? Or am I safe to just fast forward to whatever the new stuff is?
Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but is there a forced love interest and a forced harem? Every now and then, a game comes along with the harem tag where it is optional, but I can never tell. I can't stand the whole 'oh we're together now but you can still fuck who you want!' approach that a lot of games have.

No forced LI or Harem. You decide who is in it...however, it's not exactly going to be like a normal 'harem' game on here. People have obligations, you're a prince, you have a set marriage being organised. It's also set in medevil times (effectively)...you're the heir to the kingdom, women you are with expect you to sleep around and if not a high born noble, know they can never marry you themselves.
And now i no longer think i want to try lol. So it seems there are no good li's just broken trash/just jump on other dick's or pussy but they say they still love you and here i thought it was only the Livvy character. Are we sure this is a harem game lol is there a solo route were mc is with no one? So no faithful Li's? Are all li's and side story's avoidable? If not it's no big deal i can just move on. A civil honest reply would be nice instead of some white knighting reply.

Liv is NOT a LI! All the rest will be loyal to you. They are all avoidable if you choose as well as the side stories.
Lol never said it had ntr and i said i was not sure about giving it a try because of my concerns which is why i posted my questions. I got my answer from Mav.

- Graphically, well, this the Dev's first project, this means that there's room to improve, and, to be honest, it has improved.
- This is a story for ADULTS. You know, people that are grown ups? People that understand that EVERYONE has an history. People that are capable of understanding that EVERYONE makes mistakes. So, empathy, intellectual honesty and comprehension are absolutely required skills to understand and follow this story, or, as we call it, Adulthood.
- If you are expecting ONLY virginal and inexperienced Love Interests, please, move on. This includes characters that :: Gasp :: behave like Humans.
- The story unveils the passing of a prophecy. Several female characters are involved in the coming of that prophecy. They'll form a cohort of sorts around the MC. So, before you start accusing it of being too easy to seduce them, they are FATED to do it, neither the MC, we the players or the LI's have anything to say or do about it.
- You, the player, can refuse some things, but, they will remain in your life.
This 2nd chapter brought a bevy of improvements. The game and the Dev are finding it's feet.
Can't wait for Chapter 3.

The vast majority of changes of the script were grammatical. There were about 150 render changes but that was replacing a couple of scenes. Not new content. There were some variable changes. With all the changes to Ch1, the pre-patch saves may not work. Now I have a testing team that won't be a problem again. So if you have a pre-patch save, it's probably best to zip through it again. If you have a post-patch save it will be fine.
- LIs are loyal and in love with the MC. You get to choose to see lewd scenes or not. There are five main LIs at this stage. If you choose an LI at the end and don't have enough points they will rejected you as a husband.
- The player has the option of individual LIs, a harem option and a solo option.
- It is more a game with a harem option than a harem game. If you don't get enough points up, the harem will reject you.
- The MC won't have 50 wifes. It will be one wife, five wives and maybe an option for a few more wives. I haven't decided on the final couple of chapters yet.
- Livvy is not a main LI, but a side LI. I can't say more that as that would spoil possible content in Ch3 depending on variables.
I think I answered everything.
I'm happy to answer questions as long as they don't give away plot specifics.

So, if you go for a harem option, can you be selective and just get the points to have Charlotte & Lydia (for example)? or you can only have 1 or 5?

I do hope that Livvy will stay in the Harem.
There were several "I want More" options. Are they ONLY to avoid the Lewd scenes, or is there more to them?
I ask because I avoided them all, and plan to continue to, unless there's some GOOD reason to follow them.
As far as I recall, the only sex scene I said No to, was at the Brothel.
