that a percentage of the community does not accept your game is not a reason to abandon a project that you started.
In a perfect world, maybe. But there are reasons why this might not be true. What if a developer has gained independence from a day job so their only source of income is via their supporters? If enough support drops because of what they're doing, they might be forced to give up on their game to take a job that allows for no spare time to keep developing.

Or, maybe a developer has not gained independence from a day job, so development of their game takes away a lot of time from their family or other obligations. They might have gotten an ultimatum from a spouse or similar: make a living doing just game development within 2 years, or quit. If that happened, losing supporters could prevent them from reaching the ultimatum's demands, in which case they have to quit.

So depending on the size of the percentage not accepting the game, that could absolutely be a reason to abandon a project that they started. You never know what's going in IRL for any given developer, and unless you yourself have been in the same circumstances, you cannot honestly say you wouldn't do the same as they have.

Agreed but, early I believe the dev said he didn't care about the money maybe it isn't true but I think he said that. I believe he claimed he was retired from Canadian Special Forces... it's been a while so I could be wrong. I do believe that's what was said though. So, I believe he has a military pension. Idk this particular dev's personal stuff just going off stuff that was either in the opening of the initial demo or what was communicated here. Then again this is the internet so who knows he could be full of it...

Liked the Premise and was entertained as I like the action and bad-assery. But I really must applaud you. After that sermon in the beginning, then hearing the same thing 2 or 3 times during the game again, Fred Astaire couldn't have danced and sid-stepped the hypocrisy and traditional values right into a harem any better. Can't wait for the update.
Honestly this is true. Couldn't possibly have asked for a more accurate description of "traditional values"

There's a 100% chance the dev has a grindr account

Hey Everyone,
First, I have no intention to utilize AI as it can be hit and miss.
That said, I finally got a good 8 second video that worked well.
Just a short with Allison. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Though, I don't know what happened to the subtitle. Still, it boggles my mind how far AI has come.
Cheers,
Cory F

Hey Guys,
I had a little time to work some more on the project and I took some time to see what AI would do with the characters. I tried it with Cynthia, Tara, Nicole, and the MC.
I have to say, I was surprised with how AI interpreted the 3d models. Not too bad with the girls, but the MC didn't turn out as well. Not overly bad, just not as accurate.
Still alive and kicking,
Cheers!

We are never getting anything from him if this AI bs is the moves he's making.

Not sure. It sounds to me like he's just testing it out to see. But I'd much prefer all of the time he's got free for working on this VN to go to actual work on Ch. 11. I don't have any idea how far along he is on it, but given how long it's been I do hope he finishes soon.

I survived the preachy stuff on the intro.

But it got so repetitive along the game, that I dropped the novel before the half-point.

It also doesn't help that the author doesn't care for any type of criticism. So the point of feedback from possible new fans is thrown out of the window.
Honestly i think this is one of the most blatantly obvious self sabotages i have seen in connection with an AVN.
