The lack of variety in gameplay is easily the biggest complaint I'm getting at the moment and it's totally valid. There simply isn't much to do other than spam dance/advertise/drinks and what the image get bigger. I tried to offset this with interesting flavor text but that can only do so much. The long-term plan is to add a "soft" dating sim aspect with the other dancers where you build up your relationships with them and get new interactions based on your relationship, but I'm not working on that till I finish with the 0.12 update. I am adding in the first version of a new system with the next major update, 0.8, that will add reoccurring VIP dancers that you build relationships with. I'm very optimistic about this feature and it's shaping up to be pretty cool already.
I also recently ran a feedback poll thing in my discord and one of the questions was about the inclusion of mini games to break up the loop, people seem pretty mixed on those so I'm 50/50 on adding something like that in for now. I may test the waters with a blackjack game then see what the response is.
I like the idea of promotional work affecting the mood, I'd just need to make sure it's not a major impact each time since that system can be a bit rough in the early stages when you don't have a belly to attract people. It'd be a bit punishing. I'd like to work on the mood system some more and tie it in to more things where I can, it's very bare bones at the moment.
