It really sucks that the game is now gone. it had so much potential...
Agreed, I'm still hoping that someone will pick it up and keep going. It really sucks that the game is now gone. it had so much potential...

Will the dev use the same models from this game in his new one, cause they were great and it'll be a shame to just discard them?Dev is creating new game just be patience![]()
Yeah broWill the dev use the same models from this game in his new one, cause they were great and it'll be a shame to just discard them?

As promised, I have been working on the first short story from the Mind Society. The idea is to take scenes we planned for the Mind Society and turn them into short visual novels.See in this I have shared a link of his work so far.
Bro it's better than nothingI mean, they already failed to finish the first game. Not sure why anyone should be excited that the dev is working on a whole new one.
Ja hoffe ich auch... Und lustig ich gucke gerade die Serie die du als Profilbild hast...Agreed, I'm still hoping that someone will pick it up and keep going.
and if I could, I would do it myself... I have some ideas... but unfortunately I don't have any equipment for it... the short novellas that are planned are a good idea, but in the long run I would have to pick up the entire game again and continue it, or start it again with a dominant main character...Agreed, I'm still hoping that someone will pick it up and keep going.

how good I am glad
I used to think that too.Bro it's better than nothingat the end what we can do, the game is done and dusted. RIP
While what you say is true, I don't feel it applies to here, unless someone has spend money supporting, hoping for the game to be finished.I used to think that too.
Maybe there's a part of me that still does. I'm a bit torn on that thought process, generally speaking.
But as I get older I have grown to realize that there are DEFINITELY times when nothing is better than something, if that "something" turns out to be the wrong thing. Or even just a bad thing.
Maybe next time around the Dev finishes what he started. We'll see. But if people go into it with skepticism and reluctance(to open their wallets) he has no one but himself to blame for that.
Imo, this shows the dev could be working on the game, but doesn't want to -- and since they're using a character from the game, it's going to be a harder sell that they don't abandon this one too. Looking at their Patreon numbers on graphtreon, they've been slowly losing support since work on this game slowed down, so it stands to reason a chunk of their support was directly related to this game. It probably wasn't nearly enough to hire help (iirc their last post about TMS alluded to losing people working on the project), but whatever resources they're putting towards the new game could have been put towards TMS.While what you say is true, I don't feel it applies to here, unless someone has spend money supporting, hoping for the game to be finished.
1) Beside wasting time, I don't see how this would detract enough to be worse than nothing.
2) The Dev's focus has always been comics first, game second. That has been clear for a long time now.
Yet every poll they did on their Patreon page showed that most of the community was interested in The Mind Society over their other projects. By an overwhelming majority. Maybe they should have gotten their priorities set straight in response to feedback or something.2) The Dev's focus has always been comics first, game second. That has been clear for a long time now.
And what I don't understand is why they didn't decide to finish this story in comic form then...I'm just saying that I don't think their "we're comics first guys" excuse should shield them from criticism when their community seemed to disagree and the major factor behind the game's delays seemed to be internal trouble with the team.
