Ren'Py - Abandoned - The Mind Society [v0.5] [Adventures in ENF]

I enjoyed this first instalment a lot. The rendering is clean, the girls are gorgeous though I guess it helps that I happen to enjoy pretty, not outlandishly proportioned, big boobs and, to my eyes, the creator has definitely scored high in that department. The story ticks along nicely and I find it consistently interesting and intriguing.

I am not able to analyze this VN as technically and precisely as other reviewers, so I can only go by my overall sense of enjoyment and my gut feel as to whether or not I feel inclined to continue following. Both are most definitely very positive.

I am very happy with the writing and the presentation so far but look forward to seeing more before I can make a judgment about the extra star. I hope and expect to be able to upgrade this in future.

Just finished 0.4.1, pretty good so far.

I like the premise, the story I mean, it is everyone's fantasy.

I like that there is a buff girl, you dont see many of those in porn. That said, the lack of variety is an issue, and breaks the immersion in my opinion. It is obvious the author likes big breasted and big butted woman, but not all woman are that way, or even skinny for that matter. Thicker women can be sexy, just like small breasted women can be as well. I am not saying you should change your likes, just that your product will appease a wider base with more variety. The immersion factors into it some as well, the more perfect the fantasy, the easier to disassociate with. Just something to keep in mind for future characters or projects.

The animations were a step above basic, but not clunky. I could really tell you took the time to smooth them out, just a little more and it wouldn't look like a sex machine dressed to look like a man. I saw on one of the animations, with the Lara action girl i think, that you started this, just keep it up and stagger the lengths of penetration and timing a little more.

Props for the little animations that add style. Too many of the feet to head ones, and you just earned an eye roll, fair warning. There are different ways to do it, some are better in my opinion, check them out. Please dont stop though, they add depth.

The sounds are great, dont change a thing, unless your adding more.

I think I only saw one typo, and it was easily forgotten, so your editors are doing a fantastic job.

New ideas are implemented step by step and the plot definitly has potential so I'm looking forward to next update.

Amazing top tier game. Only flaw is that they spend too much resources on rendering pictures instead of moving the game forward. Don't need 10 renders for a character to say one sentence. Other than that great game. Good story and great quality renders.

good art, lots of well animated 3d scenes. The gameplay is still a little rough around the edges (Stuff like navigating through the house not really knowing what to do and searching for the one thing that will progress the story).

I love the idea of this game and I am looking forward to seeing more of this, one of the few games where I am actually somewhat intrigued by the story.

Another mind control story that quickly becomes a grind fest and/or just turns into a mindless (pardon the pun) series of banging bimbos with no real story?
Not so fast.
This game is an amazing offering of phenomenal artwork, just about the best animations I have ever seen in a game, and a story that is compelling and immersive thus far.
The writing is clean, with very few errors. The MC seems like a fairly decent fellow, with a nice balance of eagerness and trepidation. Neither a wimp, nor a raging jerk. Fun to play from that perspective thus far. The characters around the MC have nice depth. True, you have a couple of stereotypical tropes, but the characters are done well and are believable up to this point. And what a beautiful, varied array of characters there are thus far!
There are choices to be made, and there are different scenes to play depending on those choices.
You level up your mind control power, but not a hint of grinding to be found.
As beautiful as the artwork is, and as engaging and immersive as the writing is, it is the animations coupled with erotic AF sound that makes this game a total MUST SEE. Some of my favorite games have some animations, but I cannot recall any of them with the quality of those to be found in this game. Top to bottom, simply outstanding!
I give this one my highest recommendation. I am eagerly joining the dev on his Patreon, and will happily support him to see where this amazing game goes.

IMO: This was done extremely well... definitely keeping an eye on this one. Based on the file size, thought it'd be a bit longer, but after the play through, it makes sense. Very much worth it. Great job

Bad Points
- Story seems interesting but DEV use it not wise at all.. We have lots of flashback scene in story about old ancestors of our MC but worst part is they have all sexsual action we have, all serious content we have and they are more like %70 of the game! It could be reverse not like that. Base game and previous day could be %70 of game and flashacks will be %30. DEV seriously need to change sometings here or this game going be waste...
- Render and animation quality needs little bit improve.
- Animations need lots of improve. First we need animations with better physics. Right now they feels little bit weird in physics departmant. Second we need more good looking positions/angles because right now they look not that much good. Third we need more angle for sex scenes. And lastly we need choiceable sex scene animastions. Right now you cant choice or control animations. They just start and end. Even while changing positions DEV wont ask you anyting and just animation keep going. He need give us change for changing position with button and how fast animation will be. Theese are little things but all of them gives game immmersiveness lot.
- There is no gallery feature in base game nor gallery mod or multi-mod, which is quite annoying because for getting all scenes you need make couple of different saves and play game from nearly begining...
- After 2 year of development this game so less content i dont even want to talk about it... DEV add pretty little amount of content with every update and sometimes just adds content for old scenes (different options) and dont even bother adding new story content with new update... I just cant believe this game potencial is wasting like this...

For The End
Thisi s game with 4 star potencial but things goes pretty much wrong right now... He gave us update, we are playing and update %70-80 is only flashbacks, he gave us sex scenes but we cant get any sex scene in MC's real life all of them is in flashbacks... This is not enjoyable at all and need change... I hope DEV will manage to fix theese things and i will edit my rate to 4 star. I wish him/her luck.

Visually stunning!!!! The attention to detail in Egypt and the Roman Legion are fantastic. Being a bit of a historian myself I see the details and note the effort taken! The story is interesting, the women gorgeous and I cannot wait for more of this story! Well worth the time and please support this dev if you can. This kind of talent must be encouraged and supported.

Well, this is sadly a mediocre game.

First off, if you decide to boot this game, which I don't think you should, lower the sound. Like, to the minimum. The boot-up intro WILL deafen you. It's louder than the CS:GO intro. You have been warned.

Secondly, I uh... I don't know how you can screw up the technical basics of a VN this badly. The primary purpose of a font is to be very easily readable. Fuck style choices, they aren't as important, go for something basic like Arial. This game goes for a very fancy, but difficult to read font instead. Screens shouldn't have to wait for the sound if nothing happens. In this game they do. Speed of loading of everything is generally more important than animated fanciness. But not in this game, here you will experience load times. Generally, less is usually more for a VN. And no, this doesn't mean you have to sacrifice graphics, or even sounds, which yes, are quite decent in this game.

Thirdly, the writing suffers from annoyingly misplaced punctuation (periods and commas). It's misplaced often enough to appear intentional. Not critical to the enjoyment, but annoying nonetheless.

The plot (and by extension, character) is what I'd call halfway great. The premise is great, the setup is great, but the development of it is not. There is this character who even the author knows only exists to railroad the story, and well, said character is always overusing that. She's like a Mary Sue, except in her presence, everything loses free will and stops making any sense. It's like she's the one with mind control powers, and not us. In the first encounter with her the author himself made what I can only describe as a self-deprecating joke, where they gave us a reasonable choice to make, and then had her put a gun to our head and make us change said choice. The natural direction of the plot is for MC to start exploring his power, catch on to the... Force of antagonism's existence on his own, and then there would not be any need to railroad us, because we'd have explored everything there is to explore, encountered said character naturally, and dealt with it naturally. Also, that character forces you into an unavoidable femdom scene, which is teased, but doesn't even happen before the end of the update. Kill this character with fire and you'd have a pretty great plot and characters to fill it.

The lewd scenes are also very rare (there's 2, in the game about an hour and a half long at this point), and they are not by MC, MC is basically watching porn there, so it's literally worse than porn. At least in porn you can skip to the action.

Overall, meh. Meh meh meh. I wanted to give this game a 2, but it's not what I'd describe as "bad", just... Extremely mediocre. It reminds me greatly of another, more popular, completed game, with a very similar premise, and while the problems the two face are quite different from one another, they have really good premises, and end on the exact same feeling of "meh". Play this if you're looking for a quick wank. Don't expect any greatness.

The game started off a little bit slow but it started to get very good toward the middle. At the beginning however to movement around the house was a bit confusing but towards the end there were better clarification of movement. That should be in the game at the beginning. All and all I give the game a B+. Let's have more. Thanks.

From the beging its was a great story line. Cannot wait to see where this goes and how many hot women are to come, Just hope they add more free roaming to the game and more freedom of choice for the player. Lets see where the mind control leads and how strong it can get...

Just keep it up !!!!

A simple concept yet it carries the story pretty well. Story line has me pretty intrigued and engaged early on and the power isn't blown out of proportion. The flashback scene was especially well rendered and written.

There were also surprising amount of animations that are almost on par with those of Treasure of Nadia so much kudos to the dev for that. Still needs a little proofreading but nothing too big

Very good game, with some nice visual and gorgeous girls, with a very insterestic story of mind control and secret society, although not very present in the game(due to early acces) the mind control mechanic seems cool, can't wait for more

And this one was one of the most fun game ideas/alpha I´ve played. I hope they add more free roaming to the game, more free of choice to the player and repeatable events related to the commands you can give to the npcs.

A proper game in the mind-control genre, with good graphics, an exciting story, but in an early phase still.

Game-play: 3/5
The game struggles with a conflict between wanting to be a sandbox game and a visual novel: My advice would always be a VN but at the moment it is neither here nor there. You may navigate "freely" on 3 occasions, but this is always used as a subtext to continue a linear storyline. It works right now but might become a problem in the future.

Renders: 4/5
The renders are good but in my Opinion not great. The detail and lighting is well done but the models seem to all share the same body type, so I guess I would consider the variation as lacking.

Story: 5/5
Loving it. Honestly I would usually consider this a B- game with 4/5 but the Story and the very fitting writing manage to pull it up. Right now it's all still rather mysterious but the narrative that is started here is enough to keep you playing and waiting for the next update.

Writing 5/5
The writing fits the story perfectly. It's still lacking in some aspects, the characters we meet still need a bit of depth but most other aspects are written well to remarkably well. Especially the Egypt flashback comes to mind. "Perhaps you are a frog who lived it's entire life at the bottom of a well. And we are the ocean." Don't know if that is quoted from somewhere but that is some damn fine writing.

Renders are technically high quality, and an it is interesting story line so far. Needs a good mix of nasty girls who can be humiliated, and nice girls who can be rewarded and helped.

Review for Version 0.4.1

As this Game is still in it's "early Stage", i'm not going to be too harsh.

In terms of Content, i have to say that there is a good amount in the Game, and the Quality of said Content is satisfying. the Renders are very good looking and the Animations are hot. I know that some everyone has it's tastes but i personaly really enjoyed how the Women looked.

Gameplay was very simple and straight forward, i wasn't "lost" during the Game, i always knew where i had to go and what to do next. No Grind.

The Story is still being developed, but the Foundation is there and it looks promising and interesting. The Characters themselves still need to be fleshed out more, but, as this is 0.4.1, it is to be expected that there is still a lack of information with some Characters, so, not a big negative for me.

This is a Porn Game, so people will always want to know "Is it hot? How are the Sex scenes?".

Yes, it is hot, hot girls, good Sex scenes, you will definetly enjoy it.
I look forward to the next updates.

Pretty interesting plot, good renders, good animations. The girls are sexy as hell and I enjoy having a proper Mind Control game with this potential.
